My seaweed brain is the best

Annabeth's POV:

I wake up the next morning and I find myself in Percy's arms on the mattress on the floor. How did this happen?

I kiss his cheek "hey.... Seaweed brain.... How did I end up on the floor?" I whisper.

He yawns and opens his eyes "you rolled off and fell on top of me at about three this morning... I covered you up with a blanket and went back to sleep..." He smirks. "Thanks for the concussion by the way..." He rubs his head and laughs.

I laugh "oh my gods Percy! I'm so sorry... Why didn't you wake me?..." I push some of his black hair out of his eyes.

"Because you looked too cute to wake up..." He smirks. "Did you know you talk in your sleep?" He asks.

I blush "wha- I do not!"

He laughs. "Do too! You were talking about me..." He smirks.

I blush and facepalm "what did I- you know what?... I don't even want to know... I'm gonna go get ready for school...." I get up.

"You said that I was your cute little seaweed brain!" He shouts after me as I close the door.

I roll my eyes and laugh.

We decide against taking the subway to school because me and Percy aren't too keen on the idea of being underground again since Tartarus.... So we end up walking. Actually, we didn't quite walk.

Jason held Piper and they flew to school, and Percy insisted that since he couldn't fly, he would at least carry me...

So, despite my protests, I got carried to school by my seaweed brain.

Well, school kind of sucks.

It's hard being ADHD and Dyslexic in highschool. Especially when you've already been labeled the 'nerd' of the school. I've had a few classes with Piper this morning and she kind of helped, and so did Jason when I had history with him.

Now I'm sitting in science listening to the popular girls brag on and on about their 'football star' boyfriends. Ugh. If only they knew that Percy has saved the whole world multiple times.

"So new girl..." One of them snickers. "Maybe we should fix you up with Hugh.... He's willing to date anyone..." She smirks.

Hugh, is the 'weird kid' of the school. He has curly red hair, an acne-covered face, and braces.

I have nothing against Hugh, but I'm pretty insulted that they think that I can't find my own boyfriend.

"No thanks..." I state calmly. "I actually already have a boyfriend...." I tell them.

They all look at me then bust out laughing. "Ha! Liar! The best you could do was Hugh! No way do you have a boyfriend!" The most Barbie-like one of them says.

Oh you just wait and see.

"I do.... Actually, here he comes right now..." I nod toward Percy who has just come through the door. He looks like the ultimate cool-guy of the school... In fact, I heard this same group of girls talking about how 'hot' he was at lunch.

They all laugh "now you're just making things up-" Barbie gets cut off by Percy coming up.

"Hello ladies..." He fake smiles at them before sitting down next to me and smiling for real "hello, Annabeth..." He kisses me softly and I smirk and kiss back.

I can practically see the horror on their faces.

Percy pulls away and smiles, completely ignoring the girls. "Oh, Annabeth... I forgot... You left your lunch in my locker..." He hands me a lunch bag with a smirk. I open it nervously and look inside.

Inside is Pipers cornucopia that shoots whatever food I think of.

I smile and kiss his cheek.
