Hey, paul? Where should i put my pegasus?

Annabeth's POV:

All of us let Percy and Jason explain the situation while Paul leads the rest of us to the living room. And let me tell you that Percy's living room was not adequately designed to hold this many people. Nico and Piper sit on the couch while I lay out across them and Paul sits across from us in the chair. This should be an interesting school year.

There's a bit of an awkward silence between us until Paul speaks.

"So.... You must all be Percy's friends.... Let's see if I can figure this out..." He looks at all of us. "Well obviously I know Annabeth; how are you, dear?"

I laugh "I'm good, sir...."

He smiles "good.... Now you... You must be... Piper... Am I correct?" He points to Piper.

She laughs "yes, sir... I am...."

He smiles proudly "yes! And last but not least.... This fine young man must be.... Nico! I've heard so much about you.... How are you, son?"

Nico visibly turns slightly pink "I-I'm... I'm good..... How about you...?" Nico gulps. Small talk is NOT his specialty.

Paul laughs "I'm great!"

We talk politely for a few minutes until Percy comes in and scoops me up while smirking "hello..."

I laugh "hi...."

He chuckles and looks up to Paul "hey, Paul? Where should I put my Pegasus?"

Paul gives him a look like, seriously??

But obviously, Percy is dead serious.

"U-um.... I... I'm not sure... W-where does he usually go...?" Paul asks awkwardly.

Percy shrugs "no idea... Maybe I'll take him up to my dad.... He loves blackjack...."

I nod and smirk "good idea... We really should visit our parents while we're here...."

Paul looks between us "well... Umm... Maybe they could come... Here...?" He asks nervously.

We all turn to him with wide eyes.

"Um... Sir...." Nico starts "do you really want five gods in your house...?"

Paul just shrugs "I don't see why not... I'm fact, we can do it as a late birthday party for Percy since he was occupied during his real birthday...."

Percy starts to protest but Paul cuts him off.

"No no... It's settled! Annabeth, be a dear and contact each of your parents for me.... Godly parents that is... And also, invite the rest of you guys' crew...."

I nod slightly "um... Sir? I think you'll need a bigger space to house all of those people...."

Paul thinks about this for a second "hmm... Maybe you're right... How about we go to the beach-"

Before Paul can even finish, Percy is acting like a little kid.

"The beach?! My element! YUSS! Oh my gods yes!" Percy whoops.

We all laugh and look at Percy and he rolls his eyes.

Jason comes in, soaking wet... Again. "JACKSON!" He yells.

Percy's eyes widen "heh.... Oops..." He puts me down.

Paul looks at Jason "what happened? Percy? What did you do??"

"I may have gotten a little excited... I think I blew up the sink...." Percy says nervously.

Jason glares at him "no you didn't. You blew up the toilet." Jason's fingers crackle with lightning and he tackles Percy to the ground.

Percy screams and they fight on the floor while Piper tries to charmspeak them to calm down and Nico and Paul try to pull them apart.

I just watch for a second. "My bets are on Jason winning. Sorry Perce.... I'll get the mop." I go and find the mop and start cleaning up the toilet mess.
