The loneliness i feel
makes it hard to breathe
counting the never ending days
till we reunite in bliss
Waiting to be held by you
where its always home
longing for your scent
the traces left evaporating
As i hug your jumper every night
wishing you were in sight
missing your smile
the way it filled me with glee
While continuing to escape
from this harsh reality
the distance unbearable
but no solutions to aid
Praying for the days to fly by
to be safe with you
and feel joy
But this pain is ongoing
till we reunite
