Chapter 4

Hesh's P.O.V

I wake up at 7 and get ready. I put all my gear on and head out to get something to eat before we leave to go get Logan. I sit down and eat some Mini wheats (A/N I may or may not be eating them while I write this >.>) Once I finish eating the team walks out looking tired and almost falling asleep. I go to the armory and get my Honey badger. I grab a few other things to take just to be on the safe side. Once im done its 10 minutes till we have to leave. I go to the mess hall to see that everyone is there talking or sleeping on the chairs. "Alright. Does everyone know the mission" I yell so everyone will stop talking and pay attention. I look around the room and see the blond, Johnson, I think her name was talking to the black haired girl. I only told Johnson that she was going. Not Santos? I think is her name. They are talking to each other and completely ignore every word I just said. I walk right up to them. "I hope im not interrupting something here." I tell them looking right at them. They just look at me. "Now. Santos is it? May I ask what you are doing here. I asked Johnson, Miller, Jackson, and Ryan to go." I say sitting down by them, elbows on my knees and my head resting on my hands. "Well Ryan wanted to back out so I told him I would take his spot." She says like its nothing. But really, it is. It is really a test. To see if they have to guts to go into battle. "And really sir. I think I could do a much better job then Ryan. Hes so slow. Weak. You dont want that kind of person on a team. If I really wanted to I could go into that camp alone and take every last federation soldier down." She says with a little grin plastered on her face. "Well. If you think you are fast, strong and all that crap. Then go join another group. Because we dont need some show off, know it all bitch on our team. So get your act together or get your ass on the plane and go home." I say back to her. There are alot of Ooo Burn and things like that going around the room. The grin she had on her face disappeared. "Merrick go get Keegan. Tell him he is going to on the mission. Not Santos" I say and get up. I hear her call me a dick under her breath as she gets up and leaves the room. I call Riley and he comes running in the room. He has his vest on and different things on it now. He finally healed from the gun wound he got a few months back. "You ready to get Logan bud?" I ask bending down and petting his head. He gives me a WOOF and I take that as a yes.

About 15 minutes after everyone is done eating and getting the last touchs of what they need to take with them on the mission we are on the plane and taking off. It will take us about a 4 hours to get to Hawaii. Thats where this federation camp is. I go over the objective with the group before we land. Some seem happy with what they have to do and others not so much. We are landing in about 5 minutes so I go to the bathroom and put my paint on my face like I always do. I walk out and find Merrick getting the team ready. '' Hey Hash. You ready to go?" He asked looking at me. "Yea. Is everyone ready?" I ask back. He nods his head and we start walking to everyone. Looks like we are going to get Logan.
