"Baby, you know I love you right?"

Sunlight danced across the bedroom with each flutter of the pale curtains. The wind blew through lazily as two women existed quietly together in the loud world. Cast in an orange glow they listened as cars sped by splashing up puddles and families made their way home from a nearby park. The two became happily entangled in the soft white blankets that surrounded them, their eyes meeting each other in a silent admiration.

One broke the silence with a snort, "You're such a dork Saga-"

Saga laughed softly, raising her hands to shield herself from a pillow that the other woman had thrown at her. Smiling as she pushed the offending item away from her face she took in her girlfriends face as it came into view. It was speckled with pale freckles and donned gentle blue-grey eyes that glittered as she spoke, "but, I love you too."

"I know you do Mallory," she murmured, still deep in thought.

Mallory shifted onto an elbow, pulling Saga close to her and pressed a kiss to her forehead, "Night baby, I'll see you right when you open your eyes in the morning."

A blush rushed over Saga's cheeks, "You'd better you drama queen."

With a giggle Mallory sunk down into the warmth of her covers, "You know me too well love."

Saga slipped easily into sleep while Mallory pulled herself from the covers and paced in the living room. She was forgetting something, and she could feel it.
