Mending your Broken Heart: Kaito x Broken reader

You ran out of Gakupo's house in tears. You were so naïve for letting him into your life. When you saw him, you fell for his charms and flattery, but he was actually a cold and heartless guy. He hurt you so much, mentally and physically and so you decided to dump him once and for all. You didn't have time to patch up your cheek, so you just left with a scratched up and bleeding cheek. All the scars he gave you, all the fights you and him had. Never to go away.

You ran to the creek, and sat under the big tree by it. You felt relaxed, but the emotional pain wouldn't go away. You cried silently and you heard the sound of footsteps. "(Y/n)?" The voice said, "Is that you?"

You sat up and saw it was your best friend, Kaito. "Oh," you muttered, "hi Kaito."

"What's the matter?" He asked worridly, "Did something happen?"

He sat next to you, and saw your bleeding cheek. "What happened to your cheek?" He asked.

"Nothing." You lied.

"No," he said firmly, "I know an injury when I see it."

He opened his bag, and he found a bandage and stuck it on your cheek. "Thanks." You say quietly.

"Now, tell me what really happened." Kaito said.

You lowered your head and hid your face in your knees. "I broke up with Gakupo." You admit.

"You did? Why?" He asked, shocked.

"He kept hurting me. He's not that guy I met four months ago." You said.

"Did he do that to your cheek?" Asked Kaito.

You nodded, and continued to hide your face in your knees. He hugged you softly next to you and said, "I can't believe a guy like Gakupo would do something so horrible to a girl like you!"

"I'm such an idiot." You cried silently.

"No you're not." Said Kaito, "He's the idiot. He shouldn't have done something to break your trust. He's the one to blame for all this."

You remained silent. Your heart was beating slowly as he continued to side hug you. Tears streamed down your eyes and he gave you a full hug. "I would never..." Kaito paused, "treat you like Gakupo did."

You and him lied on the soft ground and saw the leaves on the tree rustle. You felt Kaito's hand inching near yours, and he grabbed it softly. "Hey, (y/n)," said Kaito.

You laid on your side to look at him. "Is it okay if...I can mend your broken heart?" He asked.

You looked at him confusidly. "How?" You asked.

He inched closer to your face and he planted a kiss on your lips! You were taken by surprise, but you let him kiss you. He wrapped one arm around you and you wrapped one of your arms around him too. You two parted and you both smiled. "Do you think we could...I understand if you're not ready to continue, but could we-?"

Before Kaito continued, you said, "Yes. I'd like to try that."

You two sat up and hugged. "Wanna get an ice cream?" He asked.

You smiled and said, "Okay!"

You and him stood up, and went to the ice cream shop, hand in hand.
