Deku's Villain Takes Over ✓

Chapter 6

Todoroki:

I had a bad feeling about Midoriya so I went to go check on him before I went to bed. As I got closer to his room, I could hear him saying something, "Go away! Go away." I thought he was having a nightmare so I went in to go check on him and he was sweating and holding his head saying the same thing over and over.

I went over to wake him up, "Midoriya! Midoriya! Wake up!"

Then he opened his eyes and shot up with terror on his face, breathing heavily. "Midoriya, are you okay?", I ask. He didn't respond but he didn't seem okay. He needs to slow down his breathing or he's going to hyperventilate. "Midoriya, calm down. You're safe. You're at the dorms.", I say. 

His breathing is slowing down but he's covered in sweat. "Come on you need some water.", I bring him to the common room and have him sit down on the sofa while I get him a glass of water. I also grab a towel for him to wipe away the sweat he's covered in.

"What happened?", I ask Midoriya. He takes a sip of water and answers, "I don't know. It was like a dream but wasn't."

That kinda confused me. What happened when he was unconscious? "I think you should skip school tomorrow.", I suggests.

"What? No I have to go to school!", Midoriya says.

"You might not be able to focus during class and Mr. Aizawa might notice. I'll cover for you and say that you weren't feeling good and had to stay in bed. I'll take your assignments and give them to you after school so you can stay caught up.", I say trying to convince him. 

"I guess you make a point. I'm not too sure whether I can sleep tonight.", Midoriya says.

"At least try to get some sleep while you're stuck here. I'll tell the others that you weren't feeling well and that you'll be in bed all day.", I say. "Okay. Thanks Todoroki. You go ahead and get some sleep.", Midoriya says.

"Okay. Good night, Midoriya.", I say and head to my room. I'm worried that that villain did something and his making him go crazy. I hope that nothing happens to him.

Midoriya:

Todoroki left and went to bed while I was still on the couch. Then that same voice came again and now he is sitting in front of me on the other couch, "Well you're a stubborn one. I could've gotten to you if Todoroki hadn't woken you up. But seriously, think about what I said earlier. I'm trying to get you see something."

"If your trying to take over me, that's not gonna happen.", I say.

"Yeah, I'd figured you'd say that. That just means I have to try harder to break you. You're one tough nut to break through.", he says.

"Until I figure out a way to get rid of you, what should I call you?", I ask.

"You can just call me Deku. I mean, that's your name isn't it. I am you after all.", he says.

"Fine. I'll find a way to get rid of you, and when I do, everything will be back to normal.", I warn.

"By the time you find out, it'll be too late. I'm closer to taking over than you think. I just need to know what button to press for you to break.", Deku says.

I get up and walk away back to my room and find something to do and maybe try to fall asleep.

*In the Morning*

Todoroki:

Midoriya seems to be in his room like I suggested. I just hope he gets some sleep without having another nightmare. "Hey! Where's Deku?", Uraraka asks.

"He said he wasn't feeling well this morning so he's in bed right now getting rest.", I say using the excuse I made up last night.

"Oh okay. I hope he feels better for tomorrow. Let's go before we're late.", Uraraka says. It seems that they bought it. It's a good thing, too. I'm not even sure what happened for Midoriya to act like that. Let's just hope that Mr. Aizawa buys it, too.

*After School*

We all got back into our dorms and I went to Midoriya's to give him his assignments and my notes for him to copy. 

I knock on the door and I hear Midoriya say, "Come in!" I open the door and I see he's reading a book on his bed. I close the door behind me and hand Midoriya his assignments. "Thank Todoroki. Did everyone buy it?", he asks. 

"Yeah they did. Were you able to get some sleep?", I ask, hoping that he did.

"Yeah I was able to get at least a three hours of sleep. I might just turn in early tonight just in case.", he says. I agree with him. And I'm relieved that he was able to get some sleep.

"Okay. I'm going to go to the common room and work on my work. Text me if anything happens.", I say.

"I will. Thanks.", he replies. I leave and head to the common room and tell everyone that he's doing okay.

Midoriya:

Todoroki leaves and I head to my desk to work and get caught up. Thank god I was able to get at least some sleep, but I'm still tired. "Aren't you happy I left you alone for a while? Besides, it's not fun if you're too tired to even fight back.", Deku says as he stands in the corner.

"You call this fun? I call it frightening. I know I talk to myself a lot but it's mostly about strategy and other things.", I say. Man, why does this have to happen to me?

"It might just go a little faster if you just give in.", Deku suggests.

"And let you take over and do whatever you want. No thanks. I'm not a helpless child, where I can't do anything to help. This time I can fight, and I have the power to back it up.", I say.

"You're gonna be fun trying crack.", Deku says chuckling as he disappears. I have to find a way to get rid of him, but right now, I need to focus on staying on track in school or I'm going fail.
