Felix's point-of-view

We arrived at the Houston airport and were surrounded by STAYs and paparazzi. We rushed to our limo before a gigantic crowd forms. After a while, we arrived to our hotel and checked in. I ended up sharing a two bed room with Jeongin.

I jumped onto my bed and let out a sigh of relief. We finally made it and I was excited to meet Houston STAYs.

"Hey Jisung and I want to go out, do you guys wanna join?" Chan walked into our room.

"Sure." Jeongin replied.

"Yes," I sat up on the bed. "Let's go eat somewhere."

"Alright let's go."

Chan drove us to an area somewhat outside of Houston where he didn't think a many people would recognize us. He also was in the mood for Mexican food. I was fine with it as long as I didn't have to eat anything too spicy. We picked a cute Mexican restaurant that didn't seem too crowded and walked in.

The waitress at the front caught my eye immediately. She was really beautiful and when she smiled, it gave me butterflies. The entire time I couldn't help but stare. She also had the most beautiful voice. I wanted to get to know her better. When she asked if we needed anything else, I thought I would be a bit bold and ask for her number.

Here's to me shooting my shot.

"Can I get your number?" I responded.

"Uhm.. I'm sorry, what." She looked surprised and started blushing.

How cute!

Bangchan kicked me under the table.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! You don't have to respond! Please ignore him." Jeongin interrupted. He nervously looked around, embarrassed by what I've done.

She simply nodded and walked back to the counter.

"Are you kidding me, Felix?" Bangchan looked at me a bit annoyed.

"Well.." I looked down at my food. "I was just shooting my shot. I think she's cute."

"We're not here to date." Jisung started to eat.

"Exactly. There's the dating ban and I'd rather not have anyone take advantage of any of you guys. We're idols." Bangchan looked at me.

"I know," I said looking down at my food and sighed.

We all started eating. Once in a while, she would checked in on us, but avoided making direct eye contact with me, which made me feel a bit guilty. Eventually we were ready to pay.  We did rock, paper, scissors and the loser would pay. Since I already knew everyone's go-to, I purposely lost so that I would have a chance to apologize. As I walked to the counter I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous and guilty.

I really hope I didn't make her too uncomfortable..

She told me the total and I handed her the money, clearing my throat.

"I'm sorry if I made things uncomfortable for you but I just think you're really pretty and wanted to get to know you-" I began but she interrupted me.

"Oh-h! Don't worry! You're fine." She smiled at me. Her smile gave me extreme butterflies. I smiled back.

"Well.." I pulled out my phone.

Let's try again.

"Can I please have your number?"

To my surprise she said sure. I handed her my phone to type in her number. "Why not." She smiled at me.

Wow!

"Thank you. Gracias." I bowed and went back to the table. Bangchan gave me a look but got up and we all left.

We got in the car and the entire ride was silent.

"What are you going to do now," Bangchan broke the silence. I looked at him confused. "With her number."

"Oh," I looked out the window. "Text her. Get to know her, of course. There is just something about her.."

"Are you going to tell her what your job is? Who you are. How famous you are."

I flinched. I didn't think that far.

"She doesn't have to know..or at least for now. I'll think of something." I remained quiet the rest of the ride, staring at the tall buildings we passed by.

Soon enough we arrived to our hotel and I ran to my room. I jumped on my bed and pulled out my phone. I didn't know what to say first. I felt like a little boy with a crush.

Felix:
Hey!
It's me, the guy who asked for your number at the restaurant :)
Delivered.

I sighed and waited.

A few hours passed and nothing. No response. She probably didn't want to talk to me or she was busy working.

I guess I'll take a nap..

I look for my AirPods and began to play music. I laid down and soon fell asleep.
