"Quick, Y/N, stop them from entering!"

You sprinted towards the door. Before you could touch the handle, the door flew open and struck your forehead, knocking you off balance. Strong hands gripped your shoulders as the back of your head landed on Gael's chest. However, the force of your body made the boy similarly lose his footing, causing you both to tumble down with a thump. The impact of your fall was reduced by a soft surface.

"Ah, geez! You okay?" He whispered, his suave voice and shallow breaths strangely loud.

"Yeah, are you- Ow!" You hissed in pain and scrunched your eyes closed, rubbing your forehead as a dull ache radiated from the middle. As you rotated yourself onto your side, your ears picked up a rapid, thumping heartbeat. While the realisation crept up into your consciousness, crimson sprawled across your cheeks.

You landed on top of Gael.

"See, Ruth!" A familiar mellow voice exclaimed. "I told you this isn't our room- Oh my, are you okay?" A pause. "Wait, Gael dearest? Also, is that you, child?"

"A-Aunt Carol?!" Gael stammered. "Ruth, you too?"

"What are you two doing here?" The other familiar motherly voice asked. "...No, really, what are you doing? Oh dear, are we interrupting something?"

A long, agonising pause.

"No!" Gael gently rolled you off him and shot straight up, staggering to his feet. His strides were brisk and panicked as he rushed over to the elderly pair in front of him, while frantically waving his arms in vigorous denial. "No, no, no, you've got it all-"

The door slammed shut.

"Argh, wait!" He swung the door open and shouted into the dark hallway. "I swear, I've never touched a lady like that in my entire life! My body, mind, lips and soul are still pure!!"

Silence...save for his fervent exclamations that painfully echoed off the walls.

Only a few doors down, Ruth and Carol stopped in their tracks and turned around. Their stunned expressions trembled into wide smiles as they held back their laughter.

"Please." Covering his tomato-red face, Gael's voice trickled through his fingers. "I'll explain. Please, come in."

He heard the clack of heels near him. "Hehe, no need to explain! We're just two old ladies having a laugh."

"O-Oka-"

Two wrinkled fingers pinched and waggled the available cheek, making the skin a brighter shade of red. "Aww, isn't my Gael such a cutie, Ruth?" Carol cooed. "It's always been too easy to tease him since he was a wee little bub!"

While Gael gestured for the two to enter the room, still pouting, the two ladies walked through. Once inside, he stepped in himself and closed the door behind him, ensuring to lock it this time.

They came into your field of vision, both looking different than usual. Carol was adorned in a long-sleeved maroon gown and had her grey hair slicked back in an elegant bun. Meanwhile, Ruth wore a knee-length yellow floral dress, with short puffed sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Her own beige hair, with the occasional stripes of grey, was tied in a low side chignon. A subtle hint of rose and bergamot tinged the air, the sweet scent exuding from the pair.

You couldn't help but admit that their attire, along with the innocent excitement that shone bright in their smiles, made them look many years younger.

"Is that so, Carol?" Ruth's warm grin turned to you, now sitting back on your chair, then noticed the open blue book. "What's this - taking notes, are we?"
