disrespect

okay hi Lexi here and I really need to talk about this bc honestly I'm really upset

It bothers me how guys can basically do whatever they want or wear whatever they want, while girls cannot. Before anyone starts arguing with me about this just hear me out.

The other day I wore a tank top and a flannel alright. And in the middle of class, this guy turns around and stares at my chest and says, "That's not appropriate. Not that I'm complaining though."

This made me want to punch a wall. That is just so disrespectful.

It angers me that girls can't wear certain things because "it's a distraction for the guys", like excuse me. How about instead of teaching girls to cover up their bodies, teach guys to not think with their dicks.

Yes I get that maybe showing too much skin could be a bad thing. I get it. But the fact that I can't wear a simple tank top in fear of being harassed is not okay.

This is so degrading and disrespectful.

Also another thing that doesn't tickle my fancy is the whole touching butts thing.

Okay yeah sure, if you're dating and you're alone then go ahead. But if you're out in public, do not touch my butt. Do not touch my chest. Don't. It's so rude and embarrassing.

Before you say how I'm over reacting, I've talked to my friend who's been dating this guy for a loooong time and she said she hates when he slaps her butt in public. It's embarrassing for her and awkward for everyone else around.

Even for guys too.

I don't find it funny when girls touch their butts or anything along those lines. It's not funny.

In fact that is sexual harassment my friend.

Idk if this even makes sense, but this has been bothering me. I'm sorry if it's not explained in the best possible way, but I'm hoping you caught my drift here.
