Its been a while right? Well Pinky is back! Sorry i took so long to update again i just needed something to write, but now i think i will try to update every week but I'm not promising anything! Anyway, today I'm gonna give you some tips on How to wear boots this was a request also, so keep on reading! ;)

How To Wear Ankle boots

#1: Pairing booties with a dress is a fun and non-obvious choice. I like pairing boots with a dress or skirt for an interesting outfit, try to keep the hem of your dress above your knee to create the longest leg line possible.

#2: When wearing jeans with booties, an exposed ankle is key to keeping your ankles looking as slim as possible. One of the ways to create this gap between the jeans and boots is a cuffed hem, try this look with a longer pair of skinny jeans, rather than an ankle length pair.

#3: Rolled or double cuffed jeans are a cute look with booties and allow for a little bit of your ankle to show through, this look works best with skinny jeans. Straight-legged or wider-legged jeans shorten your leg line when rolled.

#4: Tucking your pants into your ankle boots creates a long, lean leg line, most jeans aren't quite fitted enough at the ankle to allow for this look to work, so a long pair of leggings are your best bet.

How To Wear Knee High/Tall boots

#1: So, if you want to wear your favorite pair of boots with a dress, make sure you balance the lengths properly and wear tall boots with a short dress and vice versa. You'll need to show at least a couple of inches of your legs in order to visually separate the body from the legs. If you fail to do this, your body will appear like it's melting slowly and you'll have that reversed triangle shape.

#2: Socks layered underneath boots can be a cute look for fall and winter, in addition to keeping your tootsies nice and warm. However, adding another line down there at your knee can easily cut the line of your leg up. Don't let more than an inch of your socks show to avoid weird color blocking and sectioning of your legs. Keep the socks a neutral color so they add a little something but don't draw a lot of attention.

#3: Choose your darker colors of jeans, rather than your neon pair. This will help the boots blend into your leg better and create a long lean look.

#4: Pair your patterned pants and boots with a neutral, oversized top to help balance out the business in the bottom.

#5: Pencil skirts are a great combination with boots, but you have to be careful with the proportions. Choose pencil skirts that hit at, or right above your knee so that you have several inches of open leg. Don't let the boots and skirt touch!

#6: A-Line shaped skirts are another great option. But again, make sure there is space between the hem of your skirt and the top of your boots.

#7: Dresses and boots are a great pairing for fall, and an exposed bare leg is a perfect transitional look. Again, make sure you have plenty of space between your dress hem and your boots.

#8: Don't be afraid to pair black and brown - they're both neutrals so they go together just fine!

#9: As you get into the colder months, tights with boots are a great combination.

#10: Leg warmers are a fun boot accessory, just like socks. You can wear them over jeans, or with a dress. You could even layer them over tights with a dress or skirt!

#11: Tunics and leggings are a really versatile pair. This outfit would be perfect in the spring and summer with a pair of sandals, but also looks great in the fall and winter with a pair of boots. Since there is a lot more leg showing than with the tights and knee-length dresses, go with dark or black leggings to create a long thin leg line.

That's it for now guys! Have a blessed day! ~Pinky out~
