Chapter 5- Brent

      I gathered my books from my locker to go to fourth period. I was waiting on Megan because we have it together and we walk together. She arrived at my locker and we walked toward Math, fourth period. On our way there, we walked by Brent. He looked at me and winked. My heart stoped, my face was red. I had butterflies. His warm smile makes you melt. Megan was speaking to me but I didn't hear her. I was zoned out. She yelled at me. My head was twisted back still looking at Brent and he was still looking at me. I heard Megan yell my name and all of a sudden, crash. I had ran into somebody. I looked at the person on the ground. I finally realized what happened. "Omg, im so sorry". "Ugh, I-it's no prob", she said while holding her head. I helped her pick up her books and paper. "I didn't see you", I said. "I didn't see you either", she said. I looked back at Brent. He had walked away. I turned my attention back to her. "What's your name", I asked. "P-Pearl". I could tell she was the shy type. "W-What's yours", she said. "Kelly. I like your name Pearl". "Thanks", she said, looking down at the ground. "Ha, your welcome. Uh, again im sorry I ran into you but I have to go to class. See you around", I said. "Uh, ok, bye Kelly". I ran to class with Megan. "That was weird", she said. I hoped Brent didn't see that. I was locked into his eyes. Those beautiful eyes. Ugh, like a trance. "Kelly, you ok", she said kinda worried. "Yea im fine, just, tired". ;Well stay awake for the rest of the day then when you get home, get some rest" she said. I could tell she knew something was up. We got to class and the rest of the day went, normally I guess.
