Friday Moring

| Andy's POV |

"Do you want anyone to come with?" I was sat in the kitchen eating a light breakfast, Rye standing in front of me by the sink. I shake my head, taking a bite out my toast. I look up at him chewing, "Are you sure?" he looked worried and I sigh getting of my seat. brushing away the crumbs as I walk up to him. Placing my hands on his face I pull it up slightly, making him look me in the eyes. "I'll be fine, the meeting will be in public so he won't do anything stupid."

He slowly nodded, "I'm just scared Andy."

"I know, but I'll be back in no time. All safe and sound." His hesitant slash worried look wouldn't go away, "do you want me to bring protection anyway?" he nodded and I smiled at him. "Ok I'll ask Alex for a gun."

"Promise you'll be safe though?" he brought out his pinky. I chuckle and hook my pinky with his. "I promise on our pinkies that I will be safe." Me and Rye have this deal, where if we ever promise something we would use our pinkies to seal the deal. If we ever break our promise, we owe the other a week's worth of Nando's. I look over at the time, "well I better go talk to alex for a quick second then I have to go." He nods and I quickly walked to Alex's room.

Sitting at the table at the back of the Café, we both agreed to meet at I lean against the back of my seat and sip at my tea, waiting for Geordie to arrive. Nerves started to wrack my body and I stare down at my mug. There are moments in my life where I question if I'm right for the gang. But I always remember if I go, then they will all spiral down and probably end up killing each other. I hear the chair scrape in front of me and I look up to see the one man that's been giving me problems the last few days.

"Hey Andy, how've you been?" He asks guiltily. I role my eyes at him, looking over him. He looks so different, his once ginger hair was now black and he wore sweats instead of jeans. He usually wears jeans in public. Looking him in the eye I get right down to business, "right, lets get to business instead of the small talk, yeah?" He chuckles looking down on the table.

"You haven't changed one bit have you, Fowler?" I have him a tight smile and sigh.

"Look, what you know about us needs to stay with you. We'll spare your life but if anything gets out then it's on you." I sternly spoke making sure he understood my point. "Andy, don't worry. I'll keep ya secrets. I'm out of the game now and I don't want to get my new family in danger." I nod.

Seeing the genuine fear of getting in danger makes me realise that in fact he has changed. I see that he truly cares about Jack's sister. "Ok, but again if anyone finds out Harvey's alive - "

"Andy, seriously stop worrying, no one knows about him expect the ones involved with the alpha dogs." Sighing out of relief I take a sip of my tea.

Getting back home after seeing Geordie I drop my keys into my little box by the door and drop onto my bed. "Did it go well?" I jumped in my position and spin onto my back to look over at Rye. "Well, I'm alive aren't I?" He shakes his head laughing.

"But yes all things went well, and he agreed to keep his mouth shut."

"That's good."

| Jack's POV |

This morning, waking up I had this strong feeling of something bad is gonna happen. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something just felt really off.

I tried to shrug the feeling off as I stretch into my bed, audibly sighing out. Getting out of my bed I get dressed. I look for my phone and see that it hadn't charged over night. Fuck, I hate when that happens. I put it on charge and walk out of my room and downstairs. Giving Mikey a greeting, I go to make myself a bowl of cereal. Not really wanting to make anything special. And being the good friend I am, I make one for Brook too. He's been through a lot in the past few days and I want to help him as much as I possibly can.

Walking up the stairs and into Brook's room, I see it empty, I place the bowls down on his bedside table. With confusion I look round the room, I look for him in the bathroom but nothing. Did he not come back home yesterday?

Walking down the stairs again I ask Mikey if he's seen Brooklyn, "haven't seen him all morning mate, maybe he didn't come back from last night's walk." I shrug not really knowing what to do. But then a light bulb lights up in my head, "I'll go see if he's in the treehouse." Realisation washes over Mikey and he points his fork at me telling me to go.

You see, me and Brook have always wanted to build a treehouse. And as there aren't many places in the house that we could be perfectly alone we built one in the woods by our house, it's just for us and us only. So, I'm hoping he's there otherwise we might have a lost member.

Putting on some shoes I walk down the garden and into the tree infested area. Hearing the crunching sound of twigs and leaves, I stop at the tree with the fort on top of it. Climbing up I open the latch and flip the hatch open. Seeing a hunch up figure in the corner I sigh out of relief. Climbing in I cautiously walk towards Brook's body as his head pops up out of fear.

But when I see his face I see the dried up tear stains across his cheeks, "oh Brooks." I walk closer hugging his figure, he relaxed into me and start to rub his cold arms in reassurance, warming him up in the process. "I'm sorry." I hear a whisper. I look down in confusion and speak up, "what? Why?"

"For being such an ass to everyone. My dad just gets under my skin and I don't know how to control my temper, when it comes to him." He speaks out looking up into my eyes. I shake my head, "you're allowed to be pissed Brook, he cheated on your mum he deserves the anger you push into him." he bit his bottom lip looking down.

"That's not all he's done." He shyly whispered out. I frown, "what do you mean?" He looks up and sighs.

"Well he did cheat but that's not the main reason I'm pissed. You know how he's helped Blair and us before he left?" I nod. "Well, he left because he had pissed of some guys and he didn't want for us to get hurt. We were only starting up so he didn't want us to be vulnerable."

"That doesn't sound bad." He gave me the look that said 'just wait' and I did nodding for him to continue. "Well, he thought about the gang but not his family. The bad guys that he pissed off found out that mum had left with my siblings and tracked them down. And well... killed them to teach my dad a lesson." A tear rolled down his face and I quickly gave him a hug. "All they tried to do was get away from my farther but instead they died because of him. He's the only one left of my family. And I hate the thought of it."

I placed my head in the crook of his neck and hugged him tighter as he sobbed into my shoulder. After a few minutes of me comforting him, we moved away from each other, I placed my hand onto his cheek and wiped away any stray tears. "I can't imagine what your going through." I whispered out. "If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I'm here." He slowly nods.

"Thank you Jack. For being there for me, I just hope Blair finds Ginger soon or the next time I see him, he may not have time to live."
