chapter five

k o r e a

grandma was at the bingo hall or whatever you call it, leaving me at home by myself. i didn't have no problem with it since im nineteen meaning i can handle my own.

i quickly grabbed my phone and headed outside to walk to the store before it got dark since it was going on seven o'clock.

i was scrolling through my instagram as i walked down the sidewalk still cautious of my surroundings as i seen all the followers i gained from that one picture i posted the other day.

i sighed in relief once i made it to the corner store. i rolled my eyes once i saw the group of men standing in front of the entrance.

"excuse me." i mumbled keeping my head down making all of them advert their attention to me.

"damn she fine." one of them said licking their crusty ass lips making scrunch my face up.

"and she got a fat ass." another one said as i walked passed them. now that was just plain disrespectful. if i didn't know any better i would've turned around and started swinging but im not trying to get jumped or gang banged so i just kept walking.

after i payed for my snacks i walked back outside to see a familiar mercedes parked at one one of the gas pumps.

"say lil mama. lemme get them digits." one of the boys grabbed me making me look away from the mercedes.

"get your hands off of me." i jerked away from him looking him up and down. he must've lost his damn mind.

"you don't gotta act like a bitch. im just tryna fuck." he said gripping on to my arm a little tighter.

"so this what you do now roderick?" i heard a familiar soothing calm voice, "you forcing yourself on to women now?"

he quickly let me go letting me see that kentrell was standing in front of us with the meanest look on his face.

"get in the car." he gave me a quick glance before looking back at the four boys who looked as if they were about to shit themselves.

i didn't hesitate to make my way to his car and got into the passenger seat. i haven't seen or spoken to kentrell since the day we got pulled over.

i was so shaken up with what happened at that restaurant, that i didn't even want to see kentrell anymore. everytime he came over by the house i stayed in my room until i knew he was gone.

"why you been avoiding me?" kentrell asked making me jump. i was so deep in my thoughts i didn't even notice he got in to the car and was now pulling off.

i quickly look back at the front of the store to see the four boys were gone and nowhere to be found.

"i haven't." i lied as i stared out the window. i was completely scared of this man and what he was capable of. everyone was scared of him for some reason making me even more scared.

he stayed silent and only nodded his head. i sat up once i noticed he missed a turn and was going the totally opposite way from the house.

"where you going? you better not be on no funny shit, man." i looked at him with wide eyes as more trees started to come in to view.

"ain't nobody tryna do nothing to you, guh'." he said calmly as a big ass house started to come in to view.

it was sort of like a cabin but much bigger. it had a lot of windows letting the yard kind of light up along with the forest.

"kentrell where are we?" i asked slowly as i looked around.

"one of my other houses that i share with my friends." he got out the car before walking around opening my door.

i sat there for awhile before slowly stepping out. this was so new to me. why did he bring me here?

"i didn't want you to be in the house by yourself." he read my mind before i could say anything.

kentrell walked her in the house that were filled with his friends and their nasty hoes. everyone looked at korea and wondered who she was except for ben who already met her.

roscoe and leon which were kentrell's other close friends both looked at each other already knowing what was up.

"who's that?" leon asked curiously since they never seen kentrell around another girl. they started to think he was gay for a while.

"korea." he said as she waved shyly and sat beside him on the huge plush sofa.

"oh im leon." he said introducing himself. he was a typical light skin with many tattoos and shiny waves on his head.

"and im roscoe." he smiled showing his perfect teeth. he was a little more darker and had a low cut.

the both of them looked at ben waiting on ben to introduce himself but he was too busy locking lips with the blonde that was sitting on his lap.

"don't worry. i already met him." she smiled waving him off leaning more into the couch as kentrell stayed silent and watched her. she was so beautiful that he couldn't look away.

korea noticed that there were only two white girls and another one that looked as if she was biracial. the one sitting next to leon started to kiss on his neck and then looked back at korea to see if she was still looking.

korea chuckled lowly and looked over at kentrell to see he was already staring at her. "what?" she looked down at her lap instantly becoming insecure.

"nothing." he shook his head smiling as his homeboys watched in disbelief. "come on, let's go upstairs."

"dis nigga really just smiled." roscoe covered his mouth as he watched kentrell and korea go upstairs to do who knows what.

"i might gotta go get me a brown skin." leon said making the girl beside him scoff loudly.

"what bitch?" he looked at her sideways, "if you gotta problem you can go." he said making her stand up.

"im tired of you white girls any fuckin' ways. how you got titties and no ass?" leon said making roscoe and ben laugh loudly.
