The ride to the cafe is wild, with everyone screaming to Hoseok's new Soundcloud mixtape, which, you admit is pretty fire. 

You hop out of the car, still feeling shy you were hanging out with Jungkook's friends again after nearly a whole year and a half. They were still so sweet and accepting of you, and it made you wonder what exactly it was that went wrong between you and Jungkook.

You all place your orders after arriving at the Cafe and sit down, Jimin pulling a serious face.

"So, I think Taekook is real."

You nearly spit out your coffee, and Yoongi chokes on his bagel as Hoseok jumps up, shouting. "Oh my god, you know what? I called it. I had a feeling."

"Taekook?" Yoongi says? "As in Tae and Kook, Taekook?"

You're speechless as you look at Jimin, narrow-eyed. "No way. You're not suggesting they're- a thing?"

Yoongi shrugs. "I see it." He continues to munch on his bagel completely unbothered, and Hoseok begins gushing over the two of them, claiming how he totally saw it coming. 

You drink the rest of your coffee wide-eyed and slam the cup down on the table, drawing the trio's attention. "Uh. I'm sorry. Your whole secret was that you think Taehyung and the school's bad boy, Jungkook are dating?"

Jimin blinks. "Well. We have to confirm it. Those two spend way too much time together alone and it makes no sense anymore because they don't even hang out with us anymore." Jimin lifts a tall container of iced tea to his lips, pouting as he drinks from the staw.

"No way. I don't believe it." You say. "There's no way. Jungkook is dating Maria anyways, so explain that."

Hoseok jumps in. "Or, Maria's just a cover-up for Jungkook, or rather the both of them, Taekook I mean, so that Jungkook and Taehyung can secretly date."

"You're joking." You can't believe this. No way your crush, your ex-best friend, the school's bad boy and your personal Oppa was dating the school's second-ranked bad boy fashionista, Kim Taehyung.

"But thats so far fetched!" You argue. "Where's the proof? 

"Jungkook doesn't even like Maria-" Hobi adds. 

"Seriously. That girl is so annoying." Yoongi makes a face and you can only stay shocked.

"What? He doesn't like her? Then why are they dating? You know Maria spends all her time gushing about all the things she does with Jungkook, and everywhere they've gone together, and everything he's bought her-"

"Ew. She's clearly lying." Yoongi adds. "You should see them, literally nothing happens except Jungkook looses his sanity as Maria digs her claws into him, and a few brain cells everytime she opens her mouth."

"The most that's happened between them is a hug- and Kook telling her to ease up on the clingy-ness," Hoseok adds.

Jimin cringes as he makes a face and you both laugh. "Our Jungkookie is too nice and he just- well, he doesn't want to upset her." Jimin shrugs. "I don't know why he puts up with it, but god, she's so annoying, she manages to sneak in everywhere with him."

Yoongi stares at the ceiling as he groans, bagel in his mouth. "Ughh, and that means we have to deal with her too."

You snicker. "Hah, you guys really don't like her?"

Yoongi looks like he's about to throw up. "God no."

"You know, honestly? We all miss you." Jimin squeaks. He looks at you softly and you realize you truly miss him as well. You missed this. Having friends who no matter how long a time you spent apart from them, you could click right back into place with each other. That used to be Jungkook and you, but god, you didn't know if you would ever get that back.
