Chapter 3

______________Midoria's POV___________

I woke up to my alarm. I reached over and turned it off. I got up and went into the bathroom. I took a shower and got my uniform on. I attempted to brush my hair then went down stairs to get breakfast.

" Good morning, Izuku. " My mom said as she set plate of pancakes in front of me at the table.

"Good morning, mom. " I said back.

I quickly ate and went outside. I saw Todoroki waiting at the door.

"How long have you been waiting?" I asked him.

"About an hour." He replied. I felt bad for making him wait.

"Next time you can knock on the door and my mom will let you in. And she can get you breakfast, too. " I said.
"Oh, ok. I'll remember that. " He told me. I noticed he looked upset about something.
"Are you alright? " I asked, worry laced in my voice.
"Oh, yeah...... " He said. I could tell he was lying.

____________Shouto's POV______________
"Are you alright" Midoria asked me.
"Oh, yeah..... " I lied. I was not alright. At all. My dad has been getting stricter on me ever since I came out to him as gay. He told me I would have to work harder. He can't stand the thought of having a 'homo' live in his house.
"Ok. I know that's not true, but I won't pry. If you need anyone to talk to, you can always come to me. " As Midoria finished his sentence, we entered the school.

_______time skip to after school________

I found Midoria easy. We walked home together. Since my mom kicked my dad out of the house, he lived close to Midoria's apartment. He made me go with him to his new house when he left.
I went into our house and immediately went to my room. I didn't want to see him or talk to him. He must have heard me, because after I laid down on my bed, he came storming into my room.
"What are you doing?" His voice boomed. " You know every day after school you have to meet me outside! And your late! If I catch you spending time with some boy when you need to be training, I'll make sure you never see him again!" He continued to yell at me for a half hour or so before grabbing my hair and pulling me down to the basement where we train.

________time skip (about an hour) _____

After we got done training, he began to yell at me again.
"If you want to live in my house, you better work harder! I will not have a useless gay in my house, you got that? "
" Well have you ever thought maybe I don't want to live in your house? " I screamed back to him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the door. He pushed me out.
"THEN DON'T! " He yelled to me and slammed the door. I sat on the sidewalk, sobbing when I heard someone's voice. I looked up to see Midoria looking down at me. He sat down and started talking.
"I heard yelling coming from your house so I came to see what was happening. I heard the whole thing. " He told me.
___________POV change__________

I sat down next to Todoroki and hugged him. I thought about what I just heard.

Flashback
"I will not have a useless gay live in my house! " Endeavor yelled.
"Well have you thought maybe I don't want to live in your house?" This was Todoroki's voice.
Flashback end
"So your gay? " I asked him. He nodded in response, still sobbing. "Well we have an extra room in our apartment. It's right next to my mom's and dad's." I told him. " You could stay there. " I walked up to Endeavor's house and knocked on the door. When he answered, I said, " I am Izuku Midoria. I need all of Shouto's stuff please." He grunted and led me inside. I got everything he would need and put it into a large box. I carried it out the door. By now, Todoroki was off the ground and standing by the door. We walked to my house together.

A/N: so there's chapter three. It's not as long as I wanted it, 706 words, but I wanted it to end there.
