[UPDATES ARE COMING]
As the sun shined through the window hitting the brown haired male he shuffled in bed, he reached over groggy and moved the pillow over his head hoping to get a few more minutes of shut eye and just as started to drift back off back into his rest he heard a loud bang hit the door he groaned and leand over glancing at the alarm clock in disdain the as the pounding on the door got louder with every hit,
"[Operative} Albert it is time to wake up if you do not open the door I will just come in and wake you up single handedly myself" I move the blanket off of my tired body and dragged my way over to the door cracking it open to see a glaring face staring dreadfully back and with is Great_Day in all his glory standing straight out side my front door as I open my mouth to make a excuse he cuts me off quite harshly. "You were 30 minutes late to the town meeting this morning I was getting worried." He say almost a nervous posture
I just stand their amused for a second and walk off leaving my door open I walk into the kitchen pausing to hesr Great_day walk in behind me and shut the door quietly, I make my over to the counter and turn on the oven I glance over at Great_day "you know you dont have to worry about me all the time you know how I can restless easy." He looks at me and sighs "I know but you also know that we care for you to, Don't you remember one day we didn't see you for 7 hours straight on duty and [Operative] Unstabe_Day almost had a massive melt down." I just chuckle at the bizarre memorie of that day he was right though I went outside of the walls with out informing someone just to get some fruits and the moment I walked back in through the front gate's he body tackled me on the floor and wouldn't let go,
If it were not for the other days I most likely still would of have been stuck in within his tight grip I lightly shake my head of the thoughts and turn down the oven, glancing back I softly sigh and speak quietly "I know you guys care about me but i don't understand why im am just another person that lives here no different from my neighbors I'm not special like you guys either." He opens his mouth to speak but stops himself suddenly with a stiff stare "It's nothing we just care about you and your safety so can you please meet [Operative] Benevolent_Day in the main base kitchen in 30 minutes don't leave him waiting you know how he gets." I send a crooked smile and wave him off. "Alright thanks for the heads up I'm just going to finish up my breakfast real quick and meet him over their."
He just nods and walks out I hear the door click shut as I turn back around to finish breakfast, And just for a very split moment i think back on the worry and questions he's avoing thats not like Great_day at all to waver like that but I just shrug it off cause we are all stuck and stressed here, and with the looming threat of the nights getting bigger every day he must be under some form of pressure lord knows that I am and I can't even go anything.
[TIME SKIP]
As I finish up with my food I throw a quick glance at the clock next to me and startle stand up with a jolt, "Im going to be late oh shit." Is all I kept mumbling as I scrape what food is left into the trash and put the plates in the sink and rush out of the door with a rush in my step having it slam behind me startling some of the other people in the area, I dont even have to look to see the dirty looks they give me from my daily ritual of doing that almost every day but you kinda get used to it after a while, I throw a nervous smile at the people me and dart off through the town square only to hope I make it on time for once.
And as I stumble my way through the big double doors I let out a proud smile at the quietness thinking I made it first until I hear someone clearing their throat behind me and the glee in my body drops, "[Operative] Albert you are 1:minutes and 32 seconds late." I turn around to see their shit eating grin as big as it can get spread across their face "Ok, ok i get it Great said you needed me over here." He leans over to a table near me and grabs a list and passes it over to me I glance at it in confusion. "Ya I do need your help can you run out side of the walls and grab that stuff for me I will assign one of the othe-." "nope" I say as I cut him off swiftly,"I can just run outside of the walls real quick by my self no worries it is still day after all its only grabbing some different supplies right I should be in and out no time at all " "Are you sure Albert cause Great_day did say he would like you supervised." I nod my head stubbornly "I should be back within the hour or so if im not then you can send out a search party ok no worries needed."
All he does is nod with a worried expression I just give a grateful smile back and hastily make my way out the big doors and down near the big gates of the town I see some of the other days as I pass by but I dont want to bother them or set them know I'm going unsupervised especially after I just had Great_day at my house they look kinda busy anyways so I just carefully slip out of one of the side enterences, I smile relaxed as the sun hits my face once I'm out in the open area. "alright albert it's a quick in and out then you can go back to bed." I say to my self in hope that this would be over quick and easy doubt starting to set in I wander out into the open forest that surrounds these walls.
[TIME SKIP]
Just as I finish grabing the last of the dropped supplies a ingredients I need from the list behind me I take a quick glance through the trees and quickly stiffen up as see the sun starting to set in the distance I grab the bags off the ground swiftly and sling it over my shoulder to make a quick sprint for the walls, About half way to the wall my lungs start to burn from the exhaustion of all the running but I cant stop with the day time dropping god only knows what would happen if im stuck out here alone in the dead of night I quicken my pase at the thought creatures that roam the night just getting ahold of me, I glance up quick as I see the walls coming into view I can almost smile at the thought of safety but as I'm almost their a pair of thudding foot steps not to far behind me I can feel my heart shuddering with the knowledge of what can only b behind me the thought of death by the hands of that thing keep me pushing forwards keeping my speed but every bone in my body.
in my pained sprint I didn't notice at first the spotlight hit directly on me making the infected divert from my area giving me a chance I glance up with hope spoting the union by the gate shooting the infected around me hold them off I almost smile at the thought gleeful of this being all over and being once again within the safety and hold of the walls, But I slipped up only a few yards from reaching the gate I feel rough hand grab my sholder and push me down and as I hit the ground my face burning and chest aching a new weight pressing on my back pushing me into the rough patchy ground I let out a loud loud shout of the pain running down my front and fear of the monster holding me down.
In this moment I wanted to shut down everything hurt and it felt like burning ice stuck in my veins and thats all I could really feel shock coursing through me,thrashing and screaming in any attempt to knock this think off of me,
I can feel their claws piercing my skin and diging into my sholders clawing their way down my back in a messy swipe I scream still being crushed into the dirt I hear a loud pop go off as my ears start ringing the weight on my back easing up and sliding off I give a big push up shrugging off and quickly get up with a stagger I glance back but decide to leave the bags and start to sprint to the gates desperate for safety but I feel so weak I stumble as my vision blurrs out, All I see is dark spots layering my vision as I finally slip up and hit the ground I just layed to worn out my back feels pain just burning through me like lava my back feels wet and cold from the blood dripping down I feel some tears slip out I don't even have the energy to cry as drowsiness hits me I didn't wanna die like this no strength to fight to tired to struggle the fear I feel is crazy it smothers me like to blanket.,
With everything blurring together and a haze setting in I can feel my body relaxing and giving up my body becoming alarmingly numb but I hear the sounds of large bodys thudding around me hitting the floor with a loud *bang* guns going off in the distance by body going limp it feels like its getting hard to breath with every deep gasp of mine it gets weaker and more shallow, all the noises ringing in my ear soon start to deafen out everything almost feels warm and the idea of taking a nice relaxing nap almost seems soothing like this being all just one bad nightmare but I feels someone grasp my body getting lifted but the shouting and pleading for me to stay awake at this point is all just background noise at this point I'm...
