It's Not Going To Work - Fremione

The Lake

It was the summer before their 4th year and after the whole World Cup scenario the trio just wanted to relax and soak up the remainder of the summer. They invited the twins and Ginny to the local lake for a day of actual summer activities.

Ginny and Hermione were sunbathing in their bikinis not wanting to get wet while the boys were playing some stupid game they had made up.

"I still like him you know!" Said Ginny to Hermione sitting up on her sun lounger "i mean look at him, he's just so hot" Hermione giggled and looked to who Ginny was drooling over... Harry she has always had a crush on Harry ever since she was little and that day at the train station. Hermione then looked over and Fred, it was weird seeing all the boys without tops on but damn she thought Fred did look fine, Ginny coughed causing Hermione to look down and blush.
"So its Fred you have a crush on then, i always thought you liked Ron" Hermione laughed "i see Ron the way you see Percy, my annoying brother, but Fred i dont know he's just different, not that he would ever notice me" she looked back and Fred who was splashing his twin George with the water. He looked over and seen Hermione watching and waved at her causing her to look down again and blush. "I think your wrong Hermione, i think that if you tell him and give him time you'll fall deeply in love and oh look here comes the boys"

She looked up and seen the boys walking towards her all laughing and something Fred had said, Harry and George sat in front of the girl's sun loungers, while Ron sat at the end of Ginnys and Fred sitting at the end of Hermiones, both girls then turned so they were sitting next to the boys and the group were kind of in a circle. "So Hermione you excited to get back to Hogwarts" asked George "of course she is, she misses the Library, how do you think Gryffindor will do for the cup this year, i really hope we will win the Quidditch one this year" said Ron getting the rest involved in a heated Quidditch debate.

Hermione was just trying to breathe properly with fred sitting so close, it seemed he was leaning in closer till she heard him whisper "like what you see 'Mione" that nickname he gave the first day he met her drives her crazy but the way he says it makes her feel all bubbly inside. "You wish Freddie" she blushed as he grinned at him. "Meet me on the stairs near the window seat at 10:15 tonight i need to talk to you" he said hushed so no one else could hear him, she nodded in response and then said "Ronald i think that was mean what you just said, not all Hufflepuffs are like that same way not all Gryffindors are brave" which started another heated debate with the group she nudged an almost sleeping Fred who looked right into her eyes as she stated "i can't wait, meet you later" as she got up, winked and walked away.

Ginny seen the wink and quickly followed after Hermione leaving the boys to continue discuss the topic.

Hemione was already counting down the hours till she met up with Fred.

4 hours 27 minutes and 15 seconds till he had to talk to her and Hermione really wanted to freshen up.
