Chapter 2: Shattered Heart

Third Person POV

Team RWBY were at the gates of Beacon Academy as they all had hoodies over their clothing.

Ruby: You sure we won't get caught?
She asked with fear in her voice.

Yang: You have your semblance.
She reminded her.

Ruby: Oh......Right.
She said as the three held onto Ruby. Ruby used her semblance and went to their dorms, trying to avoid Ozpin and Jaune.

Team RWBY arrive in their dorm and they all look at each other.

Weiss: This is stupid. Ozpin and the others will try to kill us.
She said to the other three.

Blake: We don't know that. And I need to confirm something with Alex.
She said as she stepped out of the room, leaving the others.

Ruby: I need to check on Pyrrha.
She said.

Yang: I'm going with you too.
She said she held Ruby's shoulder.

Ruby used her semblance once again and disappeared, leaving Weiss in the room.

Weiss: Idiots. They'll hunt us down.
She sighed frustratingly.

To Blake

Blake was walking to her boyfriend's dorm, Alex. She was just outside of the door and raised her hand to knock but heard two voices in the room. Confused, she leaned her ear on the door to hear what's going on inside.

Inside Room

In the room Alex sat on his bed with a girl right next to him. Alex placed his hand on her leg as she pushed it away.

Alex: Coco, I've been thinking I should move on from Blake. Now that she....isn't here, I need to go forward with my life.
He said with a sorrowful tone.

Coco: But this is wrong. We don't know if she's dead or alive.
She said, refusing to hurt her friend.

Alex sighs as he looks at Coco.

Alex: I know but it's just that I miss her and my friends say I need to move on. That's why I brought you here.

Blake stood behind the door as she listened.

Alex: When I was dating Blake, I seen you in a different light but I told myself I'd never cheat on her. What I'm saying is........I like you Coco and I need to move on from Blake. So I'd thought I'd confess.

Blake bursts through the door as she looks at them with tears of hurt.

Alex: Blake! Y-Y-Y-You're alive!?
He said, confused.

Blake: H-H-H-How could you?
She said as tears of sadness streamed down her cheeks.

Alex: Blake. I-I thought you were dead. Jaune and Ozpin said that you and your team died.

Blake: HE WAS THE ONE THAT KILLED US!
She yelled as tears of rage and sadness streamed down her face, earning a gasp from Coco.

Alex stood there in shock as he processed the new info given to him. Blake turns around and runs out of the room.

Alex/Coco: Blake! Wait!
They both yelled as they started chasing after Blake.

To Ruby and Yang

Ruby and Yang were walking to JNPR's room but stopped as they heard Ozpin's voice in the room.

Jaune: What about the three of them?

Ozpin: We'll brainwash them. They'll be perfect use against Salem.

Jaune: What about me?

Ozpin: You'll be leader still. But this device will let you control them.
