Chapter 5: Confrontation

Third Person POV 

Salem: Oh my. What have I the pleasure of seeing you two. 
She said as she saw two women in front of her. 

???: Where are our daughters. 
One said as she held a sword in her hand. 

???: Where is Ruby Salem. 
One said with a scythe. 

Salem: Why? Summer Rose. 

Summer: Where is my daughter. 
She said with venom. 

Salem: Why she's here. 

Summer: Bring her to me. 
She said with venom. 

Salem: She's here on her own accord. 

Summer charged at Salem and slashed her scythe at Salem but it was blocked. Summer looked to the side and saw it was Y/N standing between her and Salem. 

Summer: Y/N?! 

Y/N: Hello Summer. 

Summer backs off as she looks at Y/N. 

Summer: Why are you with her!? 

Y/N: Because that fool Ozpin killed my two teammates. 
He said as he stood between them. 

Summer: But working with Salem? 

Y/N: Of course. But thanks to her, I was able to save your daughter. 

Summer: W-W-What? 

Y/N: What did you think Ozpin tried to do. 

Summer: W-What did he do? 

Y/N: He tried to kill Ruby and Yang along with their team. 

???: LIAR! 
One yelled as she swung at Y/N. 

Y/N blocked the attack as he looked at one holding the sword. 

Y/N: Bad choice. 
He said before sending a hard kick to her. 

Summer: RAVEN! 
She yelled as Raven crashed into the ground. 

Salem: Perhaps I should tell you. 

Summer: Tell us what! 

Salem: That I no longer care for Remnant. I only wanted to live in peace. This god forsaken war has dragged on for years and all I wanted to do was live in peace. 
She said as she looked at Summer. 

Summer: I-I don't believe you. 
She said as she helped Raven up. 

Salem: If I wanted to take over the world, I would have came straight to Ruby and take her eyes. If I wanted to, I could have raided Haven Academy and take the spring maiden. I could have done all these things. 

Summer: So you're saying that you only ever wanted to live in peace. 
She said as she looked at Salem. 

Salem: I only wanted to live in peace. Since that day Ozpin turned against me. All because of him, our children were killed in the process. 
She said as a tear fell from her cheeks. 

Summer and Raven all looked at Salem as they never saw this side of her. 

Summer: O-Ozpin said- 

Salem: Ozpin is nothing but a traitor. He wanted to reunite the people of Remnant! What does he do! He sends his people called Huntsmen and Huntresses who are children! To fight against someone that couldn't die! Someone that has the ability vaporize people in the blink of an eye! 
She yelled as she got up from her chair. 

Y/N: Calm down mistress. 
He said as he placed his hand on her shoulder. 

Salem slowly calms down as she holds his hand.
