[Alura's house. Mon-El P.O.V]
*someone had witnessed Mon-El on the sidewalk and called Alura. Alura found Mon-El and brought him back to her house*
Alura: *gives Mon-El water* Mon-El...what happened?
Mon-El: S-She said she found someone better! Someone else! She fell in love with someone else! I proposed and she said yes and then she falls in love with someone else.
Alura: SHE WHAT?!!!! No way!! Mon-El this cant be right! I see her when she looks at you! She loves you! She would never do something to jeopardize your relationship.
Mon-El: Kara said there is no relationship Alura. She is done with me. She moved on..found someone better. *Mon-El begins to break down..he crys...he cant stop*
Alura: Mon-El! Mon-El!! Breath!! *Alura forced him to drink water*
Mon-El: She doesn't love me anymore....
*Alura walked Mon-El into the guest room and made him take a nap. She was concerned for him*

Alura: *sees a familiar figure in a coffee shop. Hopes it's Kara* Kara? Kara?
Kara: Mother!!! Hey how are you!?
Alura: I'm not good at the moment.
Kara: What's wrong? Did you not find any flowers?
Alura: Why would I still look for flowers? You broke off the Engagement!!
Kara: oh yeah...I did do that. I FOUND SOMEONE ELSE MOTHER!! Someone who wasn't born on Daxam. Someone I could truly love.
Alura: and who is that Kara? I support you through all decisions but this just doesn't seem like you! This is outrageous!

Kara: Marcel! *Marcel walks over to the table*
Marcel: Hello Mrs.Zor-El I'm Marcel! Kara's new fiancé.
Alura: Hi..? When did you two meet?
Marcel: Uhh we talked a bit the last time she was on Argo. Then when she returned we couldn't stop the connection. She started complaining about her old boyfriend and I knew it was time for me to step up. Time for me to marry the love of my life.
Kara: Aww...that's so sweet babe! *Kara leans over giving him a quick peck on the lips*
Marcel: Love you...
Kara: Love you too...

Alura: I'm happy for you? But what about Mon-El? Kara...he gave up everything and so did you..why throw that all in the trash.
Marcel: *balls up his fist when Alura mentions Mon-El*
Kara: Mom, Love is unpredictable. I'm just following my heart! I hope you can accept that.
Alura: Of course! Well I should get home!
Kara: I should too! We have a lot of planning to do before our wedding! *Kara takes Marcel's hand and walks out of the shop* *she then stops and turns around*
Kara: *takes off the engagement ring Mon-El proposed with....tosses it at Alura* I won't need that anymore.
Alura: *catches the beautiful ring...Alura knew something was wrong with Kara! She just couldn't put her finger on what it was.*
