Jonah POV
Two days have passed and Im just now taking in Daniels words. I'mma bring him like a teddy bear and some type of candy. Anything except chocolate. He HATES chocolate. But, anyways after I bring him the bear and candy, I'm going to do a whole promposal thing. I think I'm gonna have like everyone surround us in the hallway and then I'mma like come down the stairs like a whole sexy beast and then I'll walk up to him with a poster that is decorated beautifully and it'll say pRoM? And I swear he'll say yes. Or at least I think he will. Who knows... Wait- he knows. OooooOooo scaRyYyy.
Daniel POV
I was in class on my phone texting Zach because for some reason, me and him became like besties after the bathroom incident. He walked into the class and sat next to me and I put my phone down.
"I thought you weren't coming to class today?"
"Oh yeah, I changed my mind about that because my mOtheds says if I don't pass my classes, which I'm failing a lot of 'em, I won't be able to go to prom so I'm here"
"Oh, well if you want, I can help you study and stuff."
"Awe, you'd do that?"
"Yeah, of course! Just let me know when you want to work"
"Today after school?"
"Sure. Mines or yours"
"Mines is fine"
"Okay"
A short period of time later, Jonah walks in. Late as always. But instead of sitting down he came to me. Then he stuck his hand into his bag and pulled another small bag out and handed it to me.
"For you"
"What is it?"
I examined the bag without taking anything out.
"Just open it", he said and took a seat behind me and Zach. I looked up and noticed that the whole class was watching us. Or me. And him. I don't know to be honest.
Once I opened it I cracked a small smile and lifted the bear out. I totally forgot why or what made him bring me this. Then the whole class cooed in awe. Then that same snarky girl stood and said,
"THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR ME! GIVE IT TO ME!"
Then she came and snatched everything out of my hands and stormed out of the class. I was so upset. Zach noticed, Jonah noticed and so did the teacher, Mr. James.
After class, me and Zach walked out the class and I was kinda pissed off now because I saw the girl that took my stuff. Like the fuck chick. If he wanted to give it to you he would've. Jonah waked up to the girl and I don't know what the hell he said, but when he turned around he had my stuff inside of his hands.
"Here's your stuff Daniel."
"Thank you so much Jonah, this just made me so happy" I said smiling a lot.
"No problem Daniel, I'mma get going to my next class because I can't be late to it, like I care if I am or not, but I'm not gonna be late...so bai"
he ran off to his class and for some reason I watched him.
Jonah POV
I wasn't really going to class. I was getting my promposal thing together. Letting a lot of the kids know when to stand in the hallway. I told them to be there at exactly 1:30 pm. Our lunch time. I know exactly where Daniel will be at and I think that it's the perfect timing for me to do it. Kdbd Jesus Christ I'm so excited for this.
Daniel POV
"You like him don't you?" Zach said giggling.
"Yeah.., a little bit"
"Oh honey, you like him more than a little bit. And I swear y'all would make one of the cutest couples I've ever seen"
"Oh shush"
"Fine, fine"
As we walked to class I earned a glare from the bear thief. I didn't care though, because I still got it back and it smelt like Jonah. And Lord knows, Jonah smells like heaven on two feet.
Once class was over, we headed to lunch. I went to the spot that I always go to just to wait for Jonah. Zach was with me, of course. People started to surround us and I got kinda scared. Then music started to play and the kids started to clear a path way for some reason.
"Oh, um are we in the middle of something? We can move.."
I said and then saw jonah walking towards me with something big in his hands. I couldn't see it cause my eyesight isn't that well from afar. Then I saw it; there was a big purple 'P', then a bright pink 'R', then a dark orange..never mind you get the picture. He walked up to me and smiled.
"Daniel Seavey, will you do me the honors of taking you to prom?"
I smiled so much im sure I had dimples showing that never existed. My dream guy just asked me to prom!!!! OMG!? What do I say? IMMA SAY YES DA HELL. But calmly-. A couple seconds later, I said super calmly
"Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes"
He smiled and everyone clapped for us for some reason. I don't know why. But I surely didn't care either. I was so happy I literally jumped into his arms hugging him. Zach was recording us and I knew it. I jumped down still hugging him and turned around to Zach and mouthed 'this is the best feeling ever I swear'...
