Chapter 2 :The new kid

Jenna's POV

I heard a loud noise coming from outside on my driveway , I peeked through the blinds and saw it was Melissa . "Mom , I'm leaving Melissa's here , I love you!" I said to my mom heading out the door and into Melissa's car. "Hey big booty!" I said to her . "Pshh , that's you J." Melissa said to me laughing .

"You ready for another day in hell ?" I said to Melissa who looked awfully tired. "Ugh , to be honest no !" She said to me looking down to my phone since it had flashed alerting us that I got a text message . The message read 'are you almost here , there's a new kid !! And he's hot !' Melissa asked me what the message said and as she heard he say 'there's a new kid and he's hot' I could feel us suddenly go at a faster speed .

Melissa's POV

I quickly stepped on the gas as soon as I heard 'there's a new kid and he's hot' come out of Jenna's mouth. "Slow down!" Jenna screamed almost peeing herself of how scared she was.

We finally got to school and met up with Chloe , are other bestfriend who sent Jenna the message. "Chloe , where is he?!" We both screamed in her face. She pointed to the spot where that he was at , and oh damn he was hot .

"Im going to go talk to him !" Jenna said . "I'm going to just play cool and if I see him somewhere say hi , so he won't think I'm this super weirdo girl." Jenna and Chloe laughed as they walked to Cameron . I stood there and washed as they talked to him. He turned to look at me and he smiled and looked to the floor. 'Omg , he just smiled at me!! Ahh !" I yelled . I heard Josh , my best guy friend , come to me and ask what was wrong laughing a little. "The new kid smiled at me and turned to the ground!!" I said smiling ear to ear. As soon as I said that and turned to josh I noticed his face expression change, from happy to sad.

Josh's POV

"The new kid smiled at me and turned to the ground!!" Was what I heard Melissa say , my heart shattered into little bitty pieces as I knew that by the way she said that , she liked him.

We were best friends since we were little in kindergarten. As we sat for lunch , in the 5th grade , I saw how beautiful she was and I felt how fast she could make my day better if it wasn't already . At that moment I noticed I loved her , but not as a bestfriend , as much more than that .

I didn't tell her that I loved her because all she would constantly talk about were all her crushes , and to this point she still does.

"Oh I see you have a new crush " trying to fake a smile. "Well I mean I don't know him so I wouldn't quite call it a crush , I wanna get to know him more. But oh yeah he's attractive!!." She said with a huge smile plastered on her face. "Well I gotta go , see you later mel" I said turning around and walking to class.

Melissa's POV

I noticed that something was wrong with josh , but I would have to talk to him later because the bell had rang for first period. I walked into science , I didn't quite like that class because I didn't really talk to anyone , I saw that someone was taking my seat. I walked over to my desk , "umm excuse me , but this is my seat" I said nicely. As soon as he looked up I noticed it was the new kid. "Oh sorry , I didn't know ." He said getting up from my desk and smiled . Of course I smiled back , he was HOT ! "Oh no , it's all fine , newby" I smiled at turned around to sit in my desk.

As I sat down our teacher came in , "happy Monday !" She said really loudly. "Ahh , I see we have a new student . Come up young man " she continued. "Class this is your new classmate mr. Dallas . Cameron Dallas." She finally stopped. "Hey bro!" The guys in the class started saying to him , he said hi back and asked where he should sit.

'Please not next to me' I said to myself . "Take a seat right behind mrs. Stevenson" the teacher said. "Shit" I said in a quiet voice. He took a seat and class began .
