Ah the nether. My home. I hate it. Who am I you may be asking yourself, my name is Kim Nanosounds Richards. I'm the queen of the nether, but unfortunately a total noob, I've been looking for a way to escape this place and get to the over world. Its my duty to "destroy them all" I want to see if there is one thing worth living for up there.
So here I was. Standing on a fence post with great balance. Waiting for someone to come and prove that their world was worth living.
Little did I know...that the answer would take a long time to find. But only two people would should me what life is worth living for.
~~~~~~~~Many weeks later~~~~~~~~
"Hello and to Feed The World! Today we get to go to the nether to look for nether quartz, blaze rods and wither skulls!" I laugh excited. "I know what your all thinking: Sjin! What about the princess of the nether?!" well folks, all we have to do is hope we don't run into her!" With that I grabbed some of my tools and hurried up to my portal going into it.
"Woo! I forgot how warm this place is..." I laugh. Suddenly I see a tower of nether brick. "Ah-Ha! Lets head over there." I grin running toward it and slaying a blaze oh the way there was easily done. I started up the tower, each floor growing more difficult than the last. But I had gained some wither skulls and a few more blaze rods. No nether quartz sadly. After killing the last pig man I was down on five hearts. I took a moment to regenerate and went for the top floor. "Finally." I say going for a chest. I opened it and found a book.
"A book? Might as well see what's Inside..." I mumble opening it. Only to find coordinates to somewhere. A certain somewhere. My farm. "Why are my coordinates of my farm in here?" I asked myself. I shrugged it off, "I'll see about it later." I say putting the book in my bag. I looked up and nearly screamed.
"W-Who?!?!?! Are you?!" I asked. The girl jumped and carefully turned around, her eyes were black as night, it matched it her hair perfectly. And her dress made her look like a beautiful China doll.
"Oh...sorry to scare you." She said softly giggling. I smiled, "I'm Sjin. You?" She smiled ad I helped her down from the fence post. "Ki-Nano. My name is Nano. Thanks for saving me. There was this guy named Strawfingers-"
"Wait Strawfingers?! He's alive?!" I exclaimed, Nano nodded. I smiled, "Well, come back to my home. I'll take you in as my apprentice!" I exclaimed happily taking her hand. I saw her smile too as we started to head back to the portal.
"So Nano. What's a girl like you doing in the nether?" I asked her as we started off toward the portal. She looked nervous before answering. "Well, I told you earlier, Strawfingers kidnapped me. And left me in that tower." I frowned, if anybody any hurt her again I'll-
"Oh hey we've reached the portal!" I heard Nano say happily. I snapped out of my thoughts and smiled. "That's great. Come on!" I say running through the portal with her beside me.
Finally I'd found a new friend. An apprentice.
------------------
"Hey Nano! Come on I wanna show you something!" I heard Sjin yell. I smiled and grabbed my ruby tools and ran off toward Sjin. Over the few weeks I'd begun to take a liking to him. He was kind, caring, and he'd put himself in harm's way several times to keep me safe. Which resulted in him having to respawn a few times.
After I got to the animal pen I noticed Sjin was holding his horse's lead. "Come on." He said getting on, he held his hand out for me, I smiled softly and took his hand. He helped me up onto the horse and I clung onto him as he started to ride a bit. "You okay back there Nano?" He asked me.
"Y-Yeah! I'm good! Were are we going?" I asked, he turned around for a moment and smiled, "Just something cool I found a few weeks ago." He said. I could only simply imagine what he had in store. Sjin was always just full of surprises.
This world seemed great living in. I can't destroy it. I trust Sjin. He's shown me life.
After about half an hour we stopped to eat. He dismounted and helped me down as well. The two of us ate lunch, which consisted of a few apples and mushroom stew. Then we were off again. But when we finally reached it, I was more horrified than astounded.
A giant crater. A crater the size of the the moon. I looked at Sjin who was grinning proudly. Why was he proud of this?! This-this was terrible!!! I looked at Sjin with terrified eyes. "Sjin...what is this?" I asked. He looked at me, "Its just a huge crater I found while going to find some caves." He said.
"I wonder who used to live here..." He mumbled to himself. I sighed, it was getting dark. "We should go." I said, he nodded and took my hand as we started back on the horse. All the while I was thinking. Who did live there..? Are they okay? Are they even alive? Who's responsible?
I would get my answer soon enough. But where not there yet. For now, let's get back to the farm.
When I awoke that morning I heard the sound of a man. And Sjin. I got worried and grabbed my ruby tools getting out of bed and fixing my flowerhair pins. Then I hurried downstairs. There I saw a short man wearing a blue spacesuit. Much like the one Sjin wore for pajamus sometimes, but his was orange,
"Sips come on! I'm happy here! I even met this girl named Nano. Please Sipsy!" I giggled at the sound of Sjin calling "Sips" Sipsy. THey must of heard me though because some arm grabbed me and pulled me out. It was Sips's arm. I huffed and looked at him. Sjin smiled, "Sips, meet my apprentice NanoSounds." Sips looked at me, eyeing me up and down. Like he was checking me out. Gross.
"Hello Sips." I said. He put out his hand, I shook it for Sjin's sake. "Hello Nano. I was talking to Sjin about how you can him can come work for me again." He empazied on "again". And it became clear that Sjin was stuck in a hard place. And I had to agree to help him out.
"I'll come work if Sjin does." I said happily. Sips grinned and looked to Sjin, who nodded in defeat. And agreement.
If only I had known what I had agreeded to. But then again, fate loves to mess with people doesn't it?
"-And this is the hiring chamber!" Sips finished. I smiled, this place seemed really cool. It was also obvious that Sjin had helped with the building. I looked at Sjin who seemed kinda nervous, but happy too.
"Anyways, we gotta blow this joint." I looked at Sips, "Why?!" I exclaimed, "Well, this place is kinda a dump. Were also moving locations. And we can't have anyone stealing from us if we move. Its kinda like: "Go hard or go home" kinda deal," I shrugged, made sense.
Sips handed me some tnt and pointed toward an old looking shack full of what looked to be sand and oil. I shrugged and went inside starting to place tnt. But something stopped me. I didn't know how to use restone.
"Hey Sjin! How do you use redstone?" I called out. No answer. Only the laughing of the duo and a hissing sound. I turned around and the last thing I saw tnt blasting in my face. And with that I was blasted into the air with a broken heart.
Sjin and Sips will feel my wrath if its the last thing I do.
Then I blacked out,
