Divergent: some scenes from 4's POV

When 4 and Tris meet.

As soon as I open my eyes I remember.

Initiation day.

The day I escaped my life in Abnegation and finally got away from my father.

After I got dressed, I went to the net where the initiates will jump off the platform and make there way into dauntless.

As I walk up I ask Lauren if she's ready. "As ready as I'll ever be."

I wonder if there will be any abnegation transfers. Probably not I was the only abnegation transfer.

When the first jumper jumps, all I register Is a gray blur. I was not expecting that. As I pull the figure off the net, I see that it's a girl.

"What's your name?"

"Bea-" she starts then hesitates.

"You can pick a new one if you want. But you can't pick again." I said smiling.

"Um..... my names Tris."

"Make the announcement 4!" Lauren calls.

"First jumper, Tris!" I say then turn back to her. As I do that i recognize her. Beatrice Prior. Andrew Priors daughter.

She's dauntless now though.

"Welcome to Dauntless." I say to Tris.
