Allura and I were on our way to the place I had picked for our date on Earth. I really hope she likes it. When we got there Allura gasped and covered her moth with her free hand. She tackled me and kissed me. When we pulled away she helped me up then hugged me and whispered into my chest thank you. I kissed her head and told her "Anything for you Lura." I smiled at her and she returned it.
We walked towards the table that Coran had set up for us. On the table there were Earth and Altean delicacies. For example there were steaks from Earth and food goo from Altea. We sat down at the table and started talking and laughing. After we finished I pulled a picnic blanket from underneath the table. I smiled and told her that we were gonna watch the starts and eat dessert.
She smiled at me and said that she'd love to. We sat down on the blanket and she put her head on my shoulder. I put my head on hers and wrapped my arms around her waist. After a while she suddenly moved to face me startling me. "Why do you call me Lura?" She asked curiously looking at me. I smiled at her and replied. "Because it's a short version of your name and is cute and simple, like you." She smiled at me and pecked my lips.
We went back to our original position when a shooting star shot across the sky. I wished that Allura would stay with me forever and we'd get married and have children together. "Allura?" I asked. She looked at me. "Could you stand up and close your eyes please?" She stood up and closed her eyes. I took a deep breath and got down on one knee getting the ring out of my pocket. "Open." I breathed. She opened her eyes and gasped when she saw me.
Allura's Pov:
I gasped when I saw him on one knee and tears started clouding my eyes.
"Allura, I have loved you ever since you fell into my arms. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't give you up for the world. When I saw you my life changed for the better, and I knew that I will fight for you. When you showed interest in Kieth and Lotor I was jealous beyond belief and the only thought going through my head was die every time I saw them. Allura I have loved you forever and will love you forever. Allura will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" He finished looking at me nervously.
"Yes!" I screamed tackling him making us both role down the hill into the lake. We kissed like it will be our last one ever. Once we parted for air we started laughing so hard that tears were running down our faces. We started walking back up the hill, correction Lance was walking up the hill and he was carrying me bridal style while I was telling him to put me down.
We wrapped ourselves in a extra blanket that was under the table and lay down on the blanket snuggling together. "I love you Lance, forever and always." I whispered kissing his cheek. "I love you too Allura, until my last breath." He whispered back kissing my lips. It seemed that everything was perfect and nothing could go wrong. Little did we know how wrong we were, because things were about to get much much worse.
