Some promises are secrets
Some promises mean a lot to someone
Some are even as simple as promising to do a chore
But what happens when someone makes a promise they do not mean?
These are empty promises
Empty promises are painful
Uncaring
Even heartbreaking
Well I'm here to tell you the story of a boy
A boy who was betrayed by an empty promise.
