Ezra POV:

    Panicking, I tried to figure out a way to make it seem like I wasn't hiding from him. In a rare moment that my brain actually worked, I yanked out my phone and pretended I was on a call. To late i realized that being on a call still doesn't explain the hiding in a bush part. Screw you brain.

    I looked up at him and his cocked eyebrow and smirking lips and unfortunately all I could think was hot damn. I quickly righted myself and scolded my brain for thinking such a horrible thing.

"Ummm Hi." I said in a weird squeaky voice that didn't belong to me. "What's up?"

"Well I saw you fall into the bush and I wanted to make sure you were alright." He said cautiously

    For starters, it was not a fall it was a graceful decent. And second off, why the hell does he sound genuinely concerned I thought he hated me?

"Yaaa i'm allll gooood." I said creepily slow. What is up with me just speak like a normal human!

"Well good," He said relaxing "I'm Jallal, I live right across there," He pointed to his house as if I hadn't been there a thousand times as a kid "I assume you're one of my new neighbors?"

    Wait a second. Does he not realize who I am? I didn't think I changed that much but maybe he is just really dumb. Either way, I need to tell him it's me. But apparently I had spaced out to long because he leaned back and drawled "Well ok, see you around sometime." Then he waved and jogged back across the street.

    Thank god that's over. Maybe I don't have to tell him I'm back if I just very carefully avoid him, I thought as I continued my run.

   Thanks to my very special spy skills, (hiding under the window till he leaves) I managed to avoid him all week. The one major thing I forgot somehow, was school. Starting tomorrow I would have to see Jallal and every other kid who treated me like trash back in the day. So fun. Guess that means I'll be wearing giant hoodies and all black for a while. Whoops I already do that.

    As I walked into the living room my mom called out to me asking if I was ready for school tomorrow.

"Yes mom I know how to put an address into maps I'll be fine." I said rolling my eyes.

"I'm only trying to make sure your safe, you know that right sweetie?" She sounded so fake. Yes of course you want me to be safe, definitely not because you don't want to take responsibility if I get kidnapped. Her concern was really backed up by the fact that she had not spoken to me once at boarding school, hell my aunt even wrote me a birthday card once but from her, nada.

    I quickly grabbed some grub and headed off to my room, falling asleep halfway through my bite, tomorrow should be great fun.

N/A Hello again this chapter was written the same day as the last one, yet even more sleep deprived so it's pretty much just a filler. WARNING there probably going to be a lot of personality changed with the main characters to fit the story a little
