Pregnancy Series~ Sawyer Hartman and Joey Graceffa

First Ultrasound

Sawyer:

"Will Mr. Hartman be here as well?" the doctor asked. "He was supposed to be here, probably got busy on set." you sighed. "But it'll be alright." She lifted the wand and the door opened, making you both jump. "Am I late?" Sawyer asked out of breath. The doctor smiled, "Just in time." You took his hand and he knelt beside you. "Sorry I was behind." he apologized, kissing your forehead. "Well you're here now." you answered, looking at the screen as she shifted the wand across your abdomen. "Baby Hartman." she pointed out. You took it all in. Your baby, a living breathing human, inside. Happy tears escaped your eyes. Sawyer smiled and kissed you, "Baby Harto."

Joey:

"Nervous?" you asked Joey. He chewed at the side of his index finger, something he did when he was nervous. You were on the bed waiting for the nurse to come in. He didn't move a muscle. "Joe come on, it'll be fine." you reassured him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He relaxed under your touch and smiled slightly. "I can't wait." he whispered, kissing the top of your hand. Just then the nurse came in. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Graceffa, how are we doing today?" You smiled, "Just fine, a little anxious that's all." She laughed as she began to set up. "All first time parents are." "How'd you know this was number one?" Joey asked. She turned from her work to look at Joey, "I've seen the look on your faces a million times before, like a deer in the headlights, but somewhat relaxed." A moment later she broke the silence. "This is going to be a little warm but it'll be fine." You nodded as she began to move the wand around your stomach. She pointed to a white blurry spot in the middle of the darkness, "There we are, you look to be about 12 weeks. Give or take a few weeks." Joey's eyes filled with tears. "You okay?" you asked, tightening your grip on his hand. He nodded, "Yeah, its just... that's our baby."
