"get your nose out of that book and come down stairs to eat dinner with your family" my mom says peaking her head through my cracked door
"one more minute" I groan
Every Sunday my parents make a huge dinner, we usually have lasagna and buttered bread and my older brother and his girlfriend will come over and tell us about everything exiting going on, makes me realize how boring I am.
I make my way down the wooden steps and into my dinning room
As soon as I was about to say something to my mom she interrupted me "Oh honey can you run down to that little bakery and pick up some bread and when you come back get into some nicer clothes please" my mom tells me while fixing the table cloth
I look down and seen my fuzzy socks layered over my leggings and big sweater, I threw on a scarf and my boots and headed out the door.
----------------------------------
The smell of warm cakes and breads filled the warm air of the small bakery and surprisingly Nancy wasn't here. My phone broke the silence when my mom called me telling me hurry up. I jammed my phone back in my boot and jumped when I turned around to see a tall man with curly hair pulled up in a quiff with bright green eyes and a lip ring."hi" I smiled but my voice was low and cracked from the cold air
Wow that's embarrassing I just turned back around and acted like I never said anything
"Hello" a deep voice said backShit he herd me.
I didn't turn back to look at him to avoid doing anything awkward like I know I would."here" he said
I turned around from searching for the loaf of bread I always get and he had it in his large hands."Thank you, how'd you kno-"
"lucky guess" he grinned
I smiled awkwardly and took the bread to pay for it"No worries it's on the house" he said starring at me making me uncomfortable
"oh no it's okay" I argue
" what's your name" he smirked
"scarlet" I said searching his face and noticed he looked familiar.
"pretty" he blurted out "thank y-
"That's my girlfriends name" his tone changed"Oh nice" I said lost for words
"Harry.. By the way" he rubbed the back of his head
My heart dropped and I didn't say anything
" you probably already knew that" he said with a small laugh
" I didn't actually" I lied and was annoyed by his cockiness."Oh then where are you from?" He asked his eyebrows burrowing in
"I live down the street" I knew that was the most stupidest answer there could've been but I honestly I was fed up with him.
