The devastating death of Calvin shocked the entire town of Night Hill. People were beginning to go into a state of panic once again for there's still a serial killer roaming the streets undetected. News about Christian's sudden disappearance was made public. Wanted posters were hung up on every wall and every lamppost and it was even broadcasted live on TV on the local news channel. As terrifying as this was, people were starting to create theories of their own hoping that they could put an end to this entire fiasco. Theory #1 is that Zena is the killer and Christian is innocent. Theory #2 is that Christian is the killer and Zena is innocent. Theory #3 is that both Christian and Zena are working together and that both of them have been involved in the murders occurring around town. Whatever the theory is one thing's for sure, the entire town population is still in great danger.

It was in the middle of the afternoon. The sun was beginning to set but it was still pretty sunny outside. Most people would refer to this as the 'golden hour' of the day. Josue was in his room laying on his bed and starring up at the ceiling. Two people that he deeply cared about were gone. It almost felt as though he had no one in his life anymore. He hasn't contacted his friends in a while and he didn't feel like doing so anytime so. He was alone, depressed, and afraid. He thought to himself, what's the point of being alive if all the people you care about are being taken away from you one by one? There was a knock on the door.

Josue: Come in mom!

The door slowly opened. Josue was surprised and astounded at the person who had just entered his room.

Alma: Hey Josue. closes the door

Josue: Hey Alma. Wh- What are you doing here.

Alma: I just wanted to check up on you. You haven't been answering any of my text or calls. You haven't been answering any of Niche's or Alex's. We just wanted to make sure you're ok.

Josue: Well I am. Now can you please go?

Alma: Not until you talk to me. walks over to Josue's bed and sits down

Josue: What is there to talk about?

Alma: Josue I know you've been through a lot lately, but that doesn't mean you should ice out all the people who could possibly care about you. We're here if you need someone to talk to, and clearly you do.

Josue: You don't know what you're talking about.

Alma: I don't? Look at you Josue. You have bags under your eyes, you're skin is starting to become incredibly pale, you're falling apart, and you are just sitting here letting it happen. I know that things might not be to great right now, but there is a killer on the loose who's been targeting all of us. If you sit here doing nothing you're letting them win.

Josue: They already did. Look at me Alma. I can't go on like this anymore. (voice begins to crack) You have no idea what it's like going on with your life knowing that you're responsible for taking the life of somebody else. I killed my own brother and lied to the police about it. The guilt has been eating me up inside and I can't deal with it anymore. If the killer doesn't kill me before he's caught I might as well just-

Alma: Don't even dare say it! Josue I care about you too much to just let you give up I like this. You have no idea how much it kills me to see you like this. You are stronger than you think you are. We will get through this together like we always have. Just because things look bad doesn't mean there isn't a bright light of hope at the end of the tunnel. I love you Josue, and I won't just let you-

Alma was paused. Josue quickly leaned in towards her lips causing them to share an intimate and romantic kiss before she could even finish her sentence. The two began to make out as Josue got on top of Alma and she followed in his lead. Josue passionately kissed Alma's neck causing her to let out a quiet moan. He took off his shirt as Alma proceeded on pulling down his sweatpants and underwear when all of a sudden Josue stopped.

Josue: I- I can't do this.

Alma: Is it because your parents are here. We've done it before and we never got caught.

Josue: No it's not that it's- takes in a deep breath

Alma: What's going on?

Josue: I'm gay.

And at that moment, Alma's heart completely sank. She tried processing the words that had just came out of Josue's mouth. She couldn't believe what her ears have just heard. Alma looked Josue in the eyes and she could tell that he was being serious. Dead serious. She didn't know what to say or how to respond. The past 2 years of their relationship have been a lie. A sick and twisted lie.

Alma: Y- You're not just sad about Karam's death are you?

Josue shook his head. He was on the verge of tears.

Alma: You're sad about Tenzin's death, too.

Josue nodded in agreement. Alma was heartbroken. She wanted to scream, yell, cry, everything around those areas. But she didn't. Instead she looked Josue in the eye and gave him a soft smile before giving him a big hug.

Josue: You're not mad?

Alma: No I am, but I'll get over it. I'm just happy you told me the truth.

Josue: I know this goes without saying but...

Alma: (chuckles) If anyone asks, I broke up with you.

Josue: (chuckles) Alright.

And just like that, Josue and Alma have officially broken up. As hard as it was for Josue to come out, he was glad that Alma took it a lot lighter than he thought she would. It was the end of an era, but the start of a new one. A happier and more honest one. As Alma walked out of Josue's house with a different feeling inside of her, somebody was watching her from across the street from the inside of a car.

Meanwhile at Alex's house, him and Niche were on the couch watching TV and eating a bag of Mexican Doritos. Niche was savoring every little bite of chips that she took. She's never tasted Mexican Doritos before and now that she has she might use all the money she had just to buy a lifetime supply of them.

Niche: These are really good oh my god. Did Alma get these for you?

Alex: That's a little racist.

Niche: She wore cornrows that one time in Freshman year and no one said anything about it, but I make a little joke and suddenly I'm the racist one? Now answer the question.

Alex: I got them at the convenience store by the gas station a couple hours ago.

Niche: Sounds a little ghetto to me. I'll just pay my butler to go get some for me from now on.

Alex let out a small laugh and shook his head. The two of them continued on watching their show when before they new it the TV began to glitch. The two of them looked at each other thinking that one of them had accidentally hit a button on the remote. The TV stopped glitching and when it did something appeared on the screen that immediately caught their attention. It was the emergency broadcast system.

News Reporter: We interrupt this program for an important announcement. Young African American woman known as Zena Spams has escaped from her prison cell not too long ago. The police officer in charge has been murdered due to a knife being aggressively impelled into his throat. Although security cameras did not capture the incident we have reason to believe that she or one of her acquaintances is responsible for this crime. Any sightings of Zena Spams and Christian Core are to be reported to the police immediately. We advice all of the citizens of Night Hill to stay indoors during this time for they have been classified as highly dangerous. May God be with us during these troubling times. Stay safe everyone.
