"I know what you're thinking ... I'm not proposing yet." He started, beginning to feel himself well up upon seeing the tears falling from her eyes.
"This ring is to remind you of me whenever you look down at your hand and holds a promise that my heart belongs to you. I knew I loved you from the first day we first met and I was never one to believe in love at first sight. I think everyone could back me up and say that you've turned me into a complete softie ... as well as a freaky motherfucker but who can blame me when you always look like a full course meal?" He said, as his pupils began to dilate and he bit his lip, scanning her body in the ugly Christmas pyjamas in which she had somehow made look good.
She laughed, wiping her tears away with the back of her hand as she became entirely overwhelmed by the words he was saying.
As misleading as seeing him on one knee was at first, she couldn't have envisaged him promising to be her forever any other way.
"Stefani ... I'll always love you no matter what happens and I would hope that I don't need to give you a ring in order for you to know that. Anyways, here's to our forever together and promising to love and to cherish each other." He finished, standing up as he slid the Tiffany ring on her finger before grabbing her face and joining their lips together in a heated make out session that left both of their lips swollen.
"I love you so much." She said, breathlessly against his lips, sending a shudder down his spine. "God, I will never get tired of how good your lips feel on mine baby ... I love you so fucking much." He replied, letting his hands slip below the rolled up waistband of her oversized Christmas pyjama bottoms.
"Let me give you your present and then I'm yours for the night." Stefani said, slipping out of his embrace.
Smiling, he sat down on the edge of their bed, waiting patiently for Stefani to return back to where he was sat. "Okay baby ... close your eyes." She said, walking over to him with his gift behind her back.
She grabbed hold of his big hands and moved them so they would be held flat in front of him, before placing two boxes on top of one another. He opened his eyes and was greeted with two very carefully wrapped gifts, one bigger than the other.
She sat next to him, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and placed a kiss to his cheek before dropping her arm and pointing at the gifts.
"Open the smaller one first." She instructed, smiling as he grabbed the gift off the bed.
When he had unwrapped it, the words 'Tiffany & Co' were written across the front of the perfect square box. He chuckled, turning to Stefani and said, "Great minds think alike huh?"
"I guess they do." She replied, laughing as she rested her head on his shoulder.

When Bradley lifted the lid on the box, he knew the diamond encrusted, gold, Cuban link bracelet had been carefully designed by Stefani. He swallowed the lump in his throat as he picked it up, slowly examining every inch of the bracelet so he wouldn't miss any of the exquisite detail.
As soon as he saw the bracelet, he noticed a gold rose with the famous 'La Vie en Rose' engraved across the stem.
