The crowd screaming in my ears is comforting. It makes me feel like people really believe in me, that I can actually do this. All I can hear right now is the crowd screaming out "Michelle" over and over. Of course Michelle isn't my real name its just my fighting name. My real name is Hayden Jade Lawson and I am one of the top fighters in my small town yet, the funny thing is that you'd think that I would be feared or at least popular. No. People have no idea that I really exist. I am invisible to all of my classmates and that I am thankful for. I am a quiet person so I really only have a few friends around this place. Cora Michaels she is the prettiest girl in town also the loud mouth of the group of three so we call her our personal "Gossip Queen". My other best friend is Lucas Ralston he is the best point guard in the entire state. I have told Cora about me fighting but I haven't got the courage to tell Lucas cause he is so protective.

"Hayden?" "Hello Hayden are you still in there?" Cora is waving her hand in front of my face.I look up from the book I am reading to see that Cora is quite irritated that I haven't been answering her. "Yes Cora?" I don't mean for it to come out slightly irritated but I guess it does. She looks around and whispers "Are You Going tonight?" I just raise my left brow at her dumb question. "Are you?" she asks slightly louder this time. Right before I could answer her question Lucas walks into the small corner that Cora and I are currently sitting in. "Is Hayden doing what?" I have never been able to lie to Lucas so I just look over to Cora silently praying that she won't tell him about the fight tonight. " Do you really wanna know?" Cora looked up to Lucas who is still standing over us. Lucas's gaze skims over me with a hint of hurt. I don't like seeing my best friend sad so I guess I am going to have to tell him everything. "Lucas I-" Cora cuts me off "We are having a girl's night at my house and before you ask, No you may not come." Lucas juts out his lower lip and starts whimpering but cora just shakes her head. Cora grabs my hand and pulls us up off the floor. "We're heading to my house. Get your keys and come on."

My hood covers my face as I step up to the ring. The guy that I am up against takes one look at me and laughs "You want ME to fight this little girl? Me "The Great"?" I throw a punch that knocks him to his knees. He is shocked I take a step back to allow him to regain his footing. Once he is back on his feet he throws his hand to my face. His Knuckles graze my cheek and my nose. My foot makes its impact into his knee so he falls and I use my knee and knock him out. When the leader of the fights comes near me I take the mic from his hands " Hello my name is Michelle and I would like to inform all of my fans out there that thursday is my last fight that I will be doing." The crowd boos and doesn't like my confession but that's the way it goes.
