i forgot what day this is!

i knew this morn'n,

if morn there was,

but now I'm not sure

where it was i paused!"

Sweet Enigma's ears burned

As she heard the nerd nudge

Toward panic.

He'll soon crack, she judged.

Wake up! wake up!

Sarah Rose, there is need for

Our brand of confusion

Pack up the number 3 illusion

To solve this amnesiacs delusion!

Sarah growled as she pulled number 3

From out behind her left knee.

Carefully tucking it under her tongue

She raced to find Sweet

Nipping Theo's cat along the way

Not for blood.... just for fun.

Lunged to a halt, Sweet brought her

All terrain seahorse, Chuck, up to the porch.

"Jump on!" Sweet demanded .."You can have the rumple-seat...

Hurry, Sarah Rose!...

We've a deadline to meet!"

As they tore through the curtain of night's velvet shroud,

Sweet shouted instructions that pierced the moon clouds.

"There's a fella in trouble! We have to go help...

He's forgotten what day t'is...

And has started to yelp!"

With a screech and " Hi Ho! "

They pulled up longside

Of a 12th floor high-rise

Where the scared nerds reside.

Tying her horse to the balcony rail...

Both of the heroes jumped into the fray.

Unhesitating, Sweet put out her hand

Sarah rose deposited the illusion...

Feel'n most grand.

Sweet held the nerd up by the scruff of his neck

and pelleted him with glitter, confetti... and then

Intoned her blessing and asked the nerd this...

"What day was yesterday?"

the nerd said... "Monday"

"What day will you vacuum?"

The nerd said, "Saturday."

"Do you have a calendar?"

"yes M'am" , quaked the nerd."

"Then what day was yesterday!"

"it was Thursday the third!"

"Then, by the powers given me by swamp, mud, and moss...

I pronounce this day to be Friday the fourth!"

"thank you... OhOh, thank you"

nerd fell to his knees..

"i was confused and stumped by your attack of confetti...

but it worked easy peasy!

i'm no longer forgetting!!"

And so, with a" Hah" and a merry "Hi Ho"

Nerd waved his white kerchief goodbye

As Sweet and Sarah flew into the night

Disappearing midst pearly moonlight.
