I'm sitting in the passenger seat of his car. Looking out the window, wondering where we are going. He didn't tell me, he wanted it to be a surprise. Whatever that means.

He pulls up to this brick building. I open the car door and follow him inside the building where he steps into the elevator and pushes number 4. Where the fuck is he taking me? Oh lord please don't let him murder me, please I beg you.

We walk out of the elevator and he stops at a door and I stay quiet. He opens it and I walk in waiting for it to be all dark in there and scary. But when I walk in it's a regular apartment. It's a pretty nice apartment. Wow.

Wait is this his apartment? Or are we robbing the place? Im starting to panic. I look to the right and I see a room for a little boy that has toys and stuffed animals . Oh my god we are definitely robbing the place!

I keep walking and speak up and ask him. "Uhm... We should probably leave before the owners come back." I say looking at him.
He chuckles.
"Nah, this is my place! You like it?" he asks me.
I nod. But wait...
"You have a kid?" I ask, i walk towards him and I look behind him and see a photo of them together. He was cute.

"How old is he?" I ask, i kept looking at the photo.
"He just turned 8" he answers, i looked at him shocked because he actually responded.
"Wow he's really cute." I tell him
"Well yeah cause he got it from me." he tells me. I roll my eyes and chuckle and he does the same only it was a smile. Wow he's got a really cute smile. I examine him for second. Until he says something. His face turns from slightly happy to serious.
"Well I didn't bring you here to make small talk, I came here to make a deal." He informs me.
I patiently wait for him to tell me.
"You take care of my little Marcus for 3 days, while I'm gone. And in return you get a cash prize. How about 1000?" He tells me.
I stand there, shocked at what he just told me. My eyes widened.
"Uhm why so much? And why will you be gone?" I curiously ask.
"Well you deserve it. And it's none of your concern." He says
"Alright. I'll see what I can do for him." I tell him.
"I know you have a guest room, he can sleep in there. I will just drop some toys off for him at your house before I leave." He says. How the fuck does he know.
"How do you know?" I ask confused.
"I did some snooping yesterday." He stands there with both his hands in front of him..
"What the fuck is wrong with you? You can't just go into my house whenever you want." I say. I care who the fuck he is. He can't just look around my house when he wants.
He just looks at me with a grin.
"Hey,Why don't you wear your ring?" He tells me with a smirk.
I ignore him.
That ring was my engagement ring that I don't wear. Ever. I don't want to sell it because I know it meant a lot to him but I don't want to wear it either. Well it doesn't matter anymore, does it?
