Deal With It

Hope's POV

After breakfast Mark and me head to the office.

We walk in the 16 story building. As we ride the elevator to the sixteenth floor I ask about the rumor.

"So what's the deal with the rumor?" I ask Mark.

"Well the kid says he proposed to you and y'all are to be engaged." he answers.

"So people claim to be with me all the time. What's so different this time?" I ask a little annoyed.

"Well people are believing him because a big famous reporter interviewed him. So everyone thinks it's the real deal." he answered.

"Ok fine I guess just set me up a meeting with him." I tell Mark as the doors open and we exit the elevator.

*Three Days Later*

I into this little coffee shop. It's really cute with pink and brown decorations. I walk to the counter and order a small mocha.

"Ok that will be 3 dollars please um and also are you Hope Stars?" the counter guy asked.

"Yes I am." I answered handing him the money.

"Wow I didn't recognize you in regular clothes. It's nice to meet you my name is Devin." he said holding his hand out for a shake.

I shake his hand and reply "The pleasure is mine."

"So if I may ask how long will you be in Cullman?" he asks a little nervous.

"I'm not sure I have a meeting in two days here." I answer truthfully.

"Well maybe I'll see you around." he says handing me my coffee.

"Yeah maybe." I say before turning to sit at a table.

I sit there for a minute before a tall guy with brown hair and blue eyes sits in front of me.

"Can I help you?" I ask not caring.

"Hey my name is Will Morrtin. The guy you have a meeting with." he answers.

"Oh so your him. Anyway start to the point why have you been telling people that we're engaged." I ask.

"Well..." he starts but is interrupted.

"Well well well if it isn't Willy. What are you doing here?" some guy asks.

This guy had tan skin seemed very muscular with dirt blonde hair and had blue eyes.

"Can't you see I am with my finance. Please leave us be." said Will with angry in his voice.

"Who are you?" I ask the guy who interrupted us.

He seems taken back when I speak. He looks at me and blushes. What's with him I wonder.

"My name is Bryan. It's really nice to meet you." he says bowing to me.

Okay then. His attitude just like completely changed. oh well I don't care about this I just want to talk to Will.

"The pleasure is mine." I say with the sweetest smile I can produce.

Bryan blushes really hard at my reply. He then excuses himself from us.

"Alright so why are you spreading that rumor?" I ask turning my attention back at Will.

"Look just deal with it for a little bit then we can just go back to our normal lives." he says a little demanding.

Something about him makes me want to know more. So I guess I'll agree to it. It's not like I really care about it anyway. This also might help my company's publicity.

"Okay fine as long as we agree that doesn't get serious and will eventually end. Promise?" I say wanting to promise this.

"Promise." he says while shaking on it.

He has kind of big hands and there warm unlike mine which are always cold.
