Emily's P. O. V

Tony and I have been best friends ever since our first prank on Mr Hamilton. Now we do everything together literally we go to the same middle school, we are both artists I paint and he draws and we prank, we curved our names at every place that we felt was special to us

The big willow tree in the park close to our house we go there almost every night, yes including school nights when Tony's parents  fight it hard for him since he is my best friend he calls me and tells me to meet him at the willow tree, we normally don't talk just stare at the stars till he feels better, we curved our name on the tree

Our favorite froyo place, we go there every day after school  we had our favorite spot there we wanted to curve our names there but the owner said no since I was raised well I decided to let it go but the owner took a picture of us, the cutest one yet, we were both laughing and I was on his back she hang it right underour spot. I love  the picture and he says "he doesn't" but I know he does I caught  him staring while smiling one time

When I say literally I meant it, when his parents fight and it's a school night and it's late he sneaks into my yard climbs up a tree and gets on my balcony and gently knocks on the door of my balcony I open he nods,  I immediately know his parents fought again and he couldn't stand it anymore. My mom knows he comes over, we sleep on the same bed it  Abigail bed so I share with my best friend in need. He leaves early in the the morning after he takes a shower  and make the whole family breakfast. He is the best cook ever!!  After a while we curved our names on the wall of my room and I painted around it.

Tony: Earth to Emma ( clicking his fingers in my face)
Emma: Huh?  What happened?
Tony : You spaced out for a solid 20
Emma: Just thinking wassup?
Tony: Timmy is throwing a surprise party for his sister and I'm invited wanna come?
Emma: What its Stacey's birthday?!  I have to buy a gift maybe two - ( holds my shoulder)
Tony : Relax, we'll go shopping after school. Breathe.
Emma: See why I need you around.
Tony: Oh come Em it's just football ( let's go of my shoulder)
Emma: ( moans) Fine I'll go home alone with no one to protect me from monsters
Tony: (chuckles) You are so annoying, I am still going to football practice, you'll watch and we will go home together and pass by the mall before that okay?
Emma: ( sighs)  And you say I am annoying. Fine I'll wait,  let's go we are gonna be late.

Later that day  17:30

After school I waited for him like he said I did my homework while waiting, he looked pretty good out on field, after football practice we went to the mall and got Stacey those gifts yes I bought two then the froyo place Cece's froyo palace as always he dropped me home and I haven't heard from him since...

Receiving a call.                  

Emily : Hey

Tony : Its all my fault they hate I swear to God

Emily : There is no way Tony calm down please

Tony : I can't you don't get ... I wonder why I even called..

Emily : Tony (whispers) 

Tony: Emma its my fault  I heard them

Emily : Tony parents are parents they love even if they don't show it you have to believe me, you are a great person and it cannot be your fault

Tony: ... I.. need you Em meet me at our willow tree in 10

Hangs up

I rush downstairs, kiss me mom good bye, grab my bike and cycled there as quickly as I possibly can, I find him sitting there staring at the sky...

Emma: Hi
Tony :Hey (sits up)
Emma : Do you wanna talk about it
Tony: Its my fault
Emma: No it's not
Tony: It is don't even try to disagree I heard them
Emma: That doesn't mean its your fault Tony you did nothing but be a great child who does his work never disrespects teachers.. -
Tony : But I seem not to be good enough for my dad to notice me.. ( I stay in silence) you see
Emma: Please listen to me you are strong you need to cut yourself some slack
Tony: I don't wanna talk anymore Emily
Emma: Okay ( I said heartbroken)

I quietly star at him something's for sure I'm in love with my best friend and I don't know what to do anymore, I know he does love me but as his friend nothing more, l can see it in his eyes.  He looks at me like looks at me, like a brother looks at his sister

Tony's P. O. V

My parent are driving me insane with the constant yelling and shouting , mom hitting dad with shoes and anything she can lift without breaking a nail. My life is a complete mess. There is one thing in my life that is perfect, Emma she doesn't how she drives me insane, I've tried avoiding it but every time I ry it gets worse, I have to do something about it now.  I find her starting at me, she looks so worried yet so peaceful I see a small smile on her face , how the hell did I get so lucky I know now I am in love with my best friend and it has been a while now and I find myself grinning like an idiot, she hesitantly pulled me into a hug. Then I realize this is what I want this is what I need, I might be young but know what I want I loosen my grip and I get up to walk away I can't do it I'm a coward I care but I just can't she runs after my she is saying something but I ignored it I took a deep breath and pulled her by her waist...

I placed my hand on her cheek and stared at her she looked as if she was going to cry,  I wiped a tear away and slowly leaned in there is no going back now , before I knew it my lips where on hers with that I pulled her chin down and deepened the kiss... It was amazing..
