(1) Light and Darkness

Light and Darkness, as I read the Genesis Chapter One, I noticed how the verses 4 and 16 related to our life. And I want to share this with y'all.

God created light for His work to be seen, His creation to be visible into everyone's naked eyes and He also created darkness which covers the light and which hides away the vision of Earth from one's sight. (Genesis 1:4 “And God saw the light and it was good; and God divided the light from darkness”)

    In life there are days where light is on our side, where we feel so happy, so blessed, so full of joy, full of laughter. Where we view life in a positive way because we can clearly see what's going on around us, everything we see are good things, we have more patience on handling and understanding things that are happening. And everything that is happening is what we plan and expect it to be, that's why we feel like life is so easy and calm.
      But life is not life when there is no dark moments or days in it, (Life is not always about rainbows and pony's), and what I mean is, it's when you feel so down, depressed, hopeless, empty, dull, where we are consumed by sad and negative thoughts, disappointments, discouragements, madness, problems and even hatred which sometimes result for us to have a break down or we shut ourselves out to people and these are the moments in life where our faith is tested, and we sometimes blame God on why such things are happening to us.
    
God is great, He created Light which is Day and Darkness which is Night, and along with this, He created two great lights.(Genesis 1:16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also")

Isn't it fascinating? He created two great lights, the one to rule the day and the other to shine in the night. He created darkness, but what amaze me is that He put some light in it and even added a star that twinkles in the sky. It shows Hope. We can relate it to life and situations we are in, we thought that darkness are gonna drow us in the pit of black but no, even in the hardest situation we are in, God is there. He provided us with light to guide our way. He is helping us to get out from that darkness we are in. He gives us the star as our little encouragement that even in the darkest part of our life there is still this little twinkling light that is supporting us and is there for us, to guide us and be with us on our way out of the black, dark and empty situation we are in.

  That's why if you ever feel so down, broken like you've been thrown in the dark, go on and see the moon, come out and look at the star. Find the light because they shine for you. Let yourself be reminded that God put you in this situation to mold you into something more wonderful. Just learn to trust Him and His plans.

"Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

God knows every single thing that is happening in your life, it may be good or maybe not. He knows every single detail of what you feel, every single detail of the situation you're in. Acknowledge His presence, pray and ask for guidance and He shall direct your path out of that darkness and you will see the light again, but this time you'll see it even more brighter and more beautiful than it is before, just trust Him.
