" Ive been looking for a way out, running around with my head down my pride in the grounds"
I hummed to the beat and lyrics as I was working on my clay sculpture of a moon, I took the medium sized cool round object into my hands and cupped it smoothing out any imperfections, I then dipped two of my fingers into a small cup filled with water infront of me and began to run them on a certain spot on my sphere to start forming the craters I did this for about 20 minutes , I took a minute to admire my creation .
I had made one crater big enough to fit a small candle inside so that my beautiful moon could beam some moonlight, I then took my Art piece into the small hot room inside the art classroom to let it dry but not before carving my initials underneath my moon on the edge of a crater "L,C" I smiled setting down my sculpture, I had completely forgotten about the embarrasing incident two hours ago in Algebra Class, Art Class was my safe haven , I could be myself, I could sketch my dreams on paper and create 3D models of what I adored most It was an alternate escape from the real world.
The bell rang, It was time to go home, I grabbed my bag and took a small purple bottle out of the front pocket of my bookbag and poured a generous amount of Lavender lotion on my palm and began to lather it all over my hands. The Bell suddenly Rang , I got up and dropped the bottle inside my bag then made my way out the door into the crowded hallway pulling my hoodie over my head and pulling down the sleeves, As I made my way near the exit and pushed through the heavy metal doors a cold gush of air hit my warm face..
