Shawn and I have been best friends forever I don't remember a moment he wasn't in my life I love him so much and I'm grateful to have him by my side and I have always supported him and his work I truly love his songs I'm always the first one to listen to his songs before he publish them. before couple of days he asked me if I could act in one of his music videos and I said yes!
"hey y/n" Shawn said
"heyy I'm really so excited to be in your music video! I can't wait to tell grandpa" I said excited!
I'm so close to my grandpa I always visit him and talk about everything I love hanging out with him and go for walks. my grandpa is really old but he has such a positive and healthy soul he always love to go for walks and take me with him I love to go walking with him and listen to his stories. every time he tells me a new story, I feel he really had the best life he has so many funny and fun stories
"y/n can I talk to you" he sounded sad
I thought he didn't want me to be in his music video
"it's okay Shawn if you don't want me to be in your music video" I smiled
"no y/n listen to me, it's not about the music video" he said with sadness "I wish it was" he whispered
"oh okay what's wrong Shawn?" I asked
"could you sit down first?" He said and I started getting nervous, there is something wrong..
I sat down
"y/n everyone dies at the end but that doesn't mean they are gone they will always be in our hearts" he said "w-what do you mean? What's wrong shawn" I started panicking
"we will meet them again in heaven we all should move on" he said
"s-shawn w-what" I said as he cut me off
"y/n I want you to be strong okay?" He said as a tear roll down his eyes
"Shawn what's going on?" I said scared of what he is going to say I know I'm not ready for whatever it is
"grandpa passed I'm so sorry y/n" he said
His words felt forever. I couldn't- I-I don't- I uh
"Shawn tell me if I'm not in the music video it's okay really" I said as tears fell down my eyes I just want to believe this is the reason he is sad I can't believe what he just said...
"I'm sorry y/n grandpa is in a better place now" he gave me a small smile with tears in his eyes
"s-shawn I-i" I lost control he hugged me tight
"Shawn I can't live without him he is- he is my everything" I lost it. I cried like a baby
"y/n please calm down he is in a better place" he started crying and he hugged me tighter he knows how close I'm to grandpa
