"First of all they both are good looking and they both are kind, caring and good with kids" I said
"Second of all how the hell can I know if I feel comfortable around them as just friends or more?" I continued

I went on a date with Tom first we had a picnic which was really cute and then we walked in the park talked about random stuff and omg let me say he is a boyfriend material I enjoyed the day with him! And I think this is what maria meant with

Next day I went on a date with shawn he took me to a really fancy restaurant and then we went to the movies but we both felt awkward and we are really meant to be best friends I love him so much he has always been my best friend we both agreed on being best friends and he said "it was a bad idea" and "he didn't know what he was thinking" but no hard feelings shawn and I are cool! Tom don't know that I choose him yet but shawn does I'm going to tell him tomorrow
