I feel quite awkward having to go on a date with my best friend who is my ex girlfriend and with my new girlfriend who I actually don't really like

I really don't know why I'm doing this

I mean y/n is just perfect for me but she really likes this guy Troy

I mean you know what they say ... if you love you've got to let her go

*Madison snaps me out of my thoughts*

Madison: " whoa John, you were lost their for a second"
John: "yea sorry, I just have a lot on my mind right now"
Madison:" ooh. No babe, what are you thinking about"
John:" I'm just thinking about song lyrics babe, nothing else "
Y/n:" can we please get out of this car!"
John:" uhh yea, let's go"

At dinner
So we are at this burger place I always go to and as always the food is amazing

Troy:"  hey babe I think we should share a drink what do you think?"

Y/n:" I mean I would like to get my own drink"

Troy:" no we are sharing a drink"

John: "why are you obligating her to share a drink and while she clearly doesn't want to"

Madison:" John you don't have to be a hero I mean it's their problem, mind your own business"

Y/n:" John can say whatever he wants you don't have to tell him he can't stand up for me"

Troy:"look who finally decided to stick up for herself, you are such a pussy

John:"don't talk to her like that!"

Troy:" ooh yea! or what?"

*John punches Troy in the stomach*

*Troy, pushed John in the table and began to beat him up*

Madison:" good job Troy"
Y/n:"what are you saying"
Madison:" I mean John has been a bitch lately so.."

The manager came and got Me and Troy out there

*Troy runs off with Madison*

Y/n:" are you okay John"
Me:"kinda, my head hurts a little but I'll be ok"
Y/n:" let me take a picture of you so I can show your mom"
Me:" ok"
* y/n snaps picture*

Y/n:" lmaooo you look a total bad boy"
Me:" thanks I guess?"
Y/n:" thank you for sticking up for me like that"
Me no problem, I'd do anything for my girl"
*You blush*
Y/n:"let's go home"
Me: "yea let's go"

I walked Y/n home:
Y/n :"thanks for walking me home"
Me:"no problem"
Y/n:" do you want like water or something, I mean it's a long walk back home"
Me:"nah I'all be ok"
Y/n:" bye Johnny "
Me:"bye y/n"

And I walked myself home
As soon as I walked through the door:

Mom:" ooh my gosh honey, are you okay?"
Me: mom I'm fine"
Mom:" but look at your ey-"
Me:" mom I'm fine, it's not that bad"

* I walked upstairs, took a shower and got in bed.*

I can't believe I went on a double date to my favorite burger place, I got beaten up, I walked all the way to Y/n's house and then I walked all the way home.

What a day...!
I am tired

I'm gonna go to sleep
