They say happiness comes in small packages

If something doesn't change

You're going to end up hating me.

She was deep in her thoughts while her fingers danced on the piano making the most beautiful melody. The music was her escape from the reality. Her mind was filled with images from last night, his muscular body above her, his soft lips kissing every inch of her skin. Her heart would start racing from just the thought of it. She glanced at the long scar on her right forearm that she got a month ago when she fell in the garden. She tried to cover it with the long sleeve of her dress but it was still visible. No one will see it anyways; her parents wouldn't notice the scar even if it was on her head. That's how much they cared about her. The sound of piano could be heard all over the castle and everybody enjoyed it.

Someone came into the large living room in which Y/N was playing. Jimin leaned on the doorframe his eyes looking at the princess admiring her beauty. Y/N noticed him only when he started clapping when the song had finished. Y/N smiled slightly moving her gaze from Jimin back to piano.

"That was magical, princess." He praised her coming closer to the piano. "When did you learn how to play the piano?"

"I have been learning since I was seven. My parents wanted their daughter to be as educated as she can be." Y/N answered tucking the loose strand of her hair behind her ear. Jimin now sat next to her.

"They did a great job. You are just perfect, princess." He tried to get closer to her, to seduce her with his words. He would flatter her, bombard her with compliments. But she just didn't seem to buy it. Her heart was already someone else’s.

"You are flattering me, prince." Her words were cold. Jimin has never expected an answer as emotionless as this one. Usually when he flirts with girls they would go crazy because of his compliments. But Y/N, she was as cold as ice. Something was off, he could tell. When he tried to put his arm around her waist she just moved away from him, leaving his arm floating in the air. He was losing his temper once again. How dares she? Does she even know who he is? He is Park Jimin, the Park Jimin, prince of the rich country and the most wanted bachelor in his kingdom. So many girls would kill for an opportunity like this. And what was she doing? She is acting like he is just an ordinary guy not worth her attention. The responds like this he would only get from women that are already married or that are in love with someone else. Wait. No, it couldn't be. Jimin stood still, his eyes widened. She isn't seeing someone else, is she? The conversation continued in his head as they sat on the chair both speechless.

"Is something wrong, your majesty?" Y/N asked him seeing that he went silent for a moment. He shook his head as his sight was now focused on her hands. They were on the piano slightly touching it. As his stare traveled up her arms he could notice the big scar on her right hand. He took her arm by the wrist and removed the sleeve so he could see it clearly. "What are you-? " Y/N froze when she saw what he was doing. He saw her scar.

"How did you get this scar? It wasn't here when I saw you at the ball." He asked her. Jimin knew very well that she isn't allowed to go out often and if she does go out no one would let her get injured like this. Y/N can feel the cold sweat forming all over her body. She needed to act quickly.

"I fell when I was with Sarah in her garden." Her voice was shaking as she moved her arm from Jimin's grip. She got up from the chair. "Excuse me now. My French class should start any minute." That was an obvious lie so she can run from his curiosity. Jimin sat on the chair looking at her silhouette disappearing in the hallway. She is hiding something, he knew it, and he will find out.

Sarah was drinking her tea as Jungkook practiced with his sword. He was a guard at Kim's mansion and he had to always be prepared. Sarah was watching him and couldn't help but smile. He was such a sweetheart. They have been seeing each other for a while now and Sarah was truly happy. Ever since her parents died she was faking her happiness, trying to stay strong so other people don't pity her. At least they died protecting Y/N and her family and she was glad that they died honorably. Her family is supposed to protect Howards with their lifes, and that's exactly what Sarah's job is. That's why Y/N is always allowed to see her and go wherever she wants with her. She was in the hands of the person who will protect her from any possible danger with her life. The king appreciated Sarah and her family, but still he knew that Sarah was more loyal to the princess than she was loyal to him. He was afraid that if his daughter gets some crazy idea Sarah wouldn’t think twice about helping her. And that was true; Sarah was ready to do anything for Y/N not because her family was bound to do everything for Howards but because Y/N is her best and only friend.

"Honey, you look very concerned. What's wrong?" Jungkook looked at Sarah worried as he put his sword down and came to the table.

"I was just thinking about how happy I am right now." Sarah spoke. "And that's all thanks to you, Jungkook."

Jungkook kneeled in front of her taking both of her hands in his and kissing each one. "I'm happy too." He smiled. "I wish I had met you earlier."

Sarah's sight became blurry from the tears forming in the corners of her eyes. She wiped them from her face with the palm of her hand and put a big smile on her face. She hasn't cried since her parents' funeral where she promised herself that that's the last time the tears may ever leave her eyes. Jungkook hugged her around the waist with his head on her belly.

"Someone might see us." She said patting his head. He got up pecking her lips.

"Do you want to go to the market? Namjoon said that he wants to bring a strawberry cake tonight but we don't have any strawberries." Jungkook asked going through his hair with his hand.

"Sure."

They bought strawberries at the same place where they met a month ago. Sarah thanked the lady that sold them the strawberries and gave them to Jungkook. "If Namjoon needs any help he can just ask me."

Jungkook nodded and took the bag filled with fresh strawberries from Sarah's hands. They were walking back to Sarah's place when they passed by the place where the old lady that sold them smeraldo flowers was sitting. She wasn't there anymore. "What do you think happened to her?" Sarah stood in front of the small step on which the old woman was sitting a month ago.

"Honestly, I don't know." Jungkook shook his head looking down. Sarah asked a couple of people who were working on the market for a while, but the answer was always the same. They didn't know who Sarah was talking about, it was like that lady never even existed. Sarah was confused. She was sure that they saw the lady, but is it possible that no one can remember her? Even if they can't remember the woman, those flowers were hard to forget. They both sighed and headed to Sarah's mansion.
