2 - Is All First Days Bad Days?

I didn't expect to write did far but I'll keep going.

Okay so today is my first day at Washington high and I'm starting my senior year and last year of high school. I hope I don't get a bad record here. And I don't want to make bad grades since I'm living with my aunt and her husband (Pete's parents) now.
Okay here I am.

I walk through the gates of WHS after my aunt dropped me, I was putting on denim shorts with a camisole , and a black and white vans. My curly black hair was in two long plaits, I know I'll get my hair done soon it's just that black people's hair can't fall back and stand straight Especially since mine is a neck level hair, what will I do without extensions.

I walk to the front door and look around for something relating to new students and I see a sign that reads 'New Students" close to two students with scary smiles. I make my way over there and stand with the other new student, I think it's only the two of us.

"Hi, I'm Kayla Huggins and this is Blake Salvatore." Kayla a white blonde haired about 5'2 said smiling at me.

"Hi, I'm Sonia" the other new student, a 5'3 brunette with blue eyes replied. I am guessing this is the part where I introduce myself so I do.

"Ina James" I say forcing a smile.

"Good now that we know ourselves Kayla and I are representatives of the students council and it's our job to show you around." Blake a really tall guy of about 6'2 and for my 5'9 height I can actually say he is pretty tall. He has brown curly hair with green eyes States.

After a whole 10 minutes of walking around with Kayla, Blake and Sonia I finally get to my first class which is chemistry. Who puts chem as first period?

I push the door and slowly walk In to a room full of quiet students   and a friendly looking teacher sitting on a desk.

"New student?" He asks

"Yes"

"Please introduce yourself" I do as he says and step forward to the middle of the class.

"Hey I am Ina James, I just moved here recently." I state blankly.

"Take a seat and the name's Franklyn." Mr. Frank says.

I scan the room for an empty desk and there's only one next to a dark haired boy in a black hoodie. As I proceed towards the sit I spot a stupid girl sticking out her legs and being a nice girl I  only step on it so hard.

"Ouch" my enemy screamed
"What's wrong darling" I asked smiling.

I got to my sit and seeing this dude doesn't talk much I just don't talk too.

After all my classes I move to the basketball court that Kayla showed me earlier because Pete is surely going to come late. I start bouncing and shoot balls.

"Pretty good " someone said and I look up and see my lab partner from chem.

"Thanks, do you play?"

"How about I show you" he said while standing up and it's then DAT I realise he is also freakishly tall o think he's even taller than Blake. He gestures for me to pass the ball and I throw it to him.

After several minutes of bouncing and shooting balls I get a text from Pete saying he is here.

"Bye, my ride is here" I say to him whom I Still don't have any idea of his name.

"Bye and I am jayden" wow so it took a good game of basketball to get him talking.

I get home and sink into my bed and no all first days are not bad days it was pretty nice, 1 day down whatever number to go.
