SIXTY NINE

When jaeho and jinsoo left jimin immediately made it to Noah's room. "Give me your phone...pack your things," he said. Noah looked at him in shock, then he shook his head. "Now Noah."

"Why do i have to pack my stuff, you literally can just take--"

"Because we're taking you back," Jimin said not caring if he cut him off. Noah shook his head "no, please don't."

"Within the past three weeks, you've ran away 16 times...sixteen."

Noah looked down "you don't want to be here that's fine but im not gonna be waisting my energy trying to find you everytime you runaway...i have three other kids Noah. So im not giving you another chance."

"Please mom, you can't--"

"Noah. 16 times in three weeks...you pull this shit everytime...im done im not letting you take advanta--"

"Mom i just want to know if their alive, he sounded so dead when he called me...please jimin try being in my shoes--they're still my parents."

Jimin let out a sighed, he rubbed his eyes. He turned around and walked out of the room. He walked back to his own room, taehyung walked in. He walked over to him and grabbed his hands "sleep this off okay...i'll talk to him."

Jimin shook his head, he slowly started to cry. "I want to be there for him, b-but i do-don't know ho-how to help."

"Jaeho used to run away all the time, maybe you can ask him for some advice--but tomorrow...sleep for now."

Jimin nodded, taehyung helped him in bed then walked out of the room. He checked his phone 8:45 pm it read.

He walked to noah's room, he was packing his stuff. "Hey unpack, i'll talk him out of this," Taehyung said.

Noah sat back, he rubbed his forehead. He let out deep breathe "let me get dongmin to bed, I'll be back," he whispered. Noah nodded, taehyung left his room and walked to dongmins.

After getting Dongmin to sleep he walked back to Noah's. He was still on the floor. Taehyung sat next to him "how bad do you really wanna see them," he asked.

"I know i shouldn't care but...i just need to know that their alive," he whispered. Taehyung nodded "put some shoes on," he said standing up. Noah looked at him "what...why?"

"Where gonna go see them, I'll be there."

"But mo--"

"I'll handle that, look im your parent too," he said. Noah nodded.

Taehyung parked the car in front of a broken down house. Noah looked at the house "you want me to get off with you," taehyung asked. Noah shook his head, he got off the car, taehyung sat back he watched as Noah knock on the door. When there was no answer noah peeked inside the window, then he jumped back.

When the front door opened a guy came charging at him, taehyung quickly got off the car and ran to him. Assuming it was noah's real dad, taehyung pulled him off if noah and punched him.

"Fuck get to the car," he said running off the porch, noah jumped off and ran into truck. Taehyung wasn't to far, he turned on the car and quickly drove off. He sighed, he quickly looked back then focused on the road. "You okay," he asked noah, who nodded "he scratched me," he said.

Taehyung glanced at him, "well shit, we're gonna get an earful from Jimin."

"You said you'd handle him?!"

Taehyung laughed "he may be small but he's scary," he said as he parked in a fast food place. He turned to noah, "let me see this," he said turning his head.

He inspected the scratched, "i'll clean it up but do you wanna get some food?"

Noah nodded.

When they got back home, taehyung accidentally dropped his keys causing yeontan to wake up. Taehyung mentally cursed "well shit," he said when he saw Jimin on the couch.

"You know how scared i was where the hell did you guys go?"

He turned on the light on then gasped seeing the scratch on Noah's face. Jimin walked over to him "how did you get this--go to the kitchen so i can clean it."

Noah walked to the kitchen and Jimin followed behind. He sighed, noah sat on the chair, jimin grabbed the band aids and wipes. "So who's telling me about this," he said as he cleaned it up.

"I took him to see his parents, it got out of hand...but i handled it so yeah," taehyung said. Jimin shook his head "go to sleep Noah, we got to talk tomorrow."

"So you aren't taking me back?"

Jimin shook his head "go to sleep," he said again. He walked away, taehyung walked closer to him (Jimin). Jimin walked back to the room "you mad at me?"

Jimin nodded "i told you i didn't want him to keep in touch with them," he said.

"Min you threatened to send him back, so yeah i'd do that for him."

Jimin shook his head "look at him," he said "and don't think i don't see the cuts on your knuckles."

Taehyung looked down at his hands, he looked back at Jimin "you don't understand min, i can understand him in a way," he said.

"Then please enlighten me Taehyung."

"You had your parents, we both lost ours okay! I was the same age when i lost mine, i have a small bit of understanding okay!"

Jimin sighed "okay fine, I'm going to sleep goodnight," he said grabbing a pillow and a blanket. "Where you going?"

"To the couch."

"Is it because im right?"

"Shut up!"

Later that night taehyung walked out of the room. He walked to the living room and checked on Jimin, he was peacefully asleep.

Jimin had woken up "what's wrong," he whispered, taehyung shook his head. "Just checking up on you," he whispered, he kissed his head.

"Come back to the room," he whispered, he shook his head. "Tired," he whispered "want me to carry you?"

Jimin shook his head, taehyung sighed "move over let me sleep with you," he whispered. Jimin moved over as much as he could, taehyung laid down then pulled jimin on top of himself.

"I love you."

"I love you more baby."
