Rae Pov
"Ras come downstairs w have to show you something " Sam yelled from downstairs. "I'll be right there" I replied. As i was walking down the stairs I smelt something very familiar. My other side wanted to come out but I wasn't gonna let it. When I got to the living room I saw the roommates with a dog. When I got close to it i recognized the scent. I froze as I remembered the way I felt that day.
Flashback
*Knock knock * my dad got up to answer the door and we stayed in the living room watching tv. "Thank you officer" is all I heard my dad say. He came back into the living room with red and puffy eyes. "Dad are you ok" "i need you guys to pay attention" "ok" "this is gonna be very hard to say but you're mother... she's dead she got in a car crash and she passed away on the way to the hospital"
Flashback over
I felt my breath getting shorter. Then there was a voice. "It's mom we can shift" "no the roommates are here" "mom will protect us" "no" "let's shift" I knew she wasn't going to listen so I ran to my room. I locked the door and slid down the wall. I started to cry then I heard a knock. "Can I come in" I didn't answer. "Please Rae if I trusted you then you can trust me" "ok" I got up and opened the door to a very concerned Colby. I put my head down and let him in. "Hey what's wrong" "you'll think im crazy" "I won't I promise" u explained everything to him. "So you're telling me that you're a werewolf and that's your mom" "I know it sounds crazy but yes" I put my head down expecting him to freak out "that is fucking cool" "you're not scared" "well I'm not getting into a fight with you you'll beat the shit outta me" he joked trying to make me feel better and I laughed clearly working. "Ok I won't believe you till you show me" "what" "show me" "I cant" "why" "I'm scared" "scared of what" "if I shift she's gonna think she can shift whenever she wants and I might lose control" "who's she" "she is me in werewolf her name is Luna" "look your strong you won't loose control but if you do which I'm pretty sure you won't I'll distract the roommates and make sure they won't know about your secret" "ok fine I'll show you"
Colby Pov
She shifted into a beautiful white werewolf her eyes were now blue and fur was soft. "Wow" is all I could say her ears perked up. "There's someone coming upstairs" she said. I quickly got up and locked the door. "Ok we're good" she shifted back and sat on her bed. I then noticed how beautiful she was I stared at her. She put her head down and said "look colby if you don't wanna talk to me anymore that's fine" I lifted her chin up and looked her in the eyes I smashed my lips against hers.
Rae Pov
When he kissed me my other side yelled "Mate" "What" "he's our mate" "but he's not even a werewolf" "doesn't have to be". When we pulled apart I said the word "mate" Colby looked at me confused. "Mate?" "Umm it means soulmate but if you're not comfortable with it it's fine" "no I'm just a little shocked" "sorry if I made this awkward I'm so stupid" "no you're not stupid and i am comfortable with being you well work through this ok you're just gonna have to help me" "ok"
