THIRTEEN

Rae POV
We got back home and all the roommates were in the couch waiting for food. I gave it to them and sat next to Colby while all the roommates looked at me. "WHAT?" "Nothing" they all said and turned their heads. We started to watch the movie and I laid my head on his shoulder and reached for his hand. I touched his wrist and he pulled away. I thought that it was just because the roommates didn't know about us but I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I looked down again and saw a bit of blood on his sleeve. I figured it out quickly. I grabbed his wrist and wouldn't let go. I started to heal it. He looked at me and looked guilty. "It's ok but we have to talk later" "ok" he said and went back to watch the movie.

After the movie was over I looked over at Colby who was asleep. The roommates were all asleep too. I was always the only one awake. I never really sleep much, always pull all-nighters, love on coffee. "Colby" I whispered "what" he groaned "let's go we need to talk" "ok" he said getting up. I dragged him to my room and he threw himself on my bed "ok show me" "show you what" he said half asleep "show me" I said sternly "ok" he sighed and showed me the infected cuts. He looked down with guilt as a tear rolled down his face "Colby" "I know I'm an idiot. If you don't wanna go out anymore that's fine" that broke my heart. I knew he felt horrible for breaking our promise but it hurts me to know that I cause this "its ok. I'm sorry" "sorry for what? I'm the one that caused this I'm a freak I deserve to die" "You don't really think that do you?" I asked with a tear rolling down my face "of course I do. I mean we only went out once and I already screwed it up and now I can't even keep my promise" I gave him a hug and placed my hand on his wound "what are you doing" "I'm healing your wound" "why I don't deserve it" I stayed trying not to get angry "a-are you upset with me" I looked him in the eyes and said "no of course not" I was angry at myself cause I had no idea I hurt him this much "we all slip up, we all make mistakes, but the most important thing to do is to keep on trying and learn from them. Look Colby I'm sorry but every time you feel like this or you feel like cutting you come to me. I don't care if we're in a fight or we're not friends anymore. You can always talk to me." He looked at me and smiled "thank you" "no problem" "hey you wanna go for a drive" he said out of the blue "umm sure where" "can we just enjoy each other's company" "of course" I said smiling we got in the car and drove. No destination, no worries we just drove and admired.

It's been like 5 hours and the car ran out of gas. "We should probably go back" "yeah let's just fill the tank up and go" we filled it up at a gas station nearby and drove home. When we got there Sam and Kat we're making out on the couch "son of a bitch get a room" they both sat up startled "oh sorry I thought we were alone" "you were we just got home" "hey where were you guys?" "We just went to the mall but we didn't find anything" "cool well we're gonna be upstairs" we laughed knowing what was gonna happen "MAKE SURE TO USE PROTECTION" I yelled  followed by Sam saying "shut up". We went up to colbys room and decided to film a video. After we were done filming we decided to just chill and watch movies. "Rae wake up" I was woken up by Colby and Jake "what fuck off" "get up" "whyyyyyy" "you need to hide" "what why" i said as I got up "because the roommates are trying to prank you and they think you're in your room and they're looking for you so just hide in my closet" "fine" I said as I got up and hid behind all the clothes "guys where is he we can't find her" "umm idk I think she went out" "oh ok well let's just try again tomorrow " they left "ok you can come out now" I threw myself on Colbys bed and Jake threw himself on me "Jake get off" "no you're comfy" then Colby threw himself on Jake "dude come on not you too" "yep feeling pretty confortable" "shut up" I said as I pushed them to the floor "fine but let's do something fun" "like what" "I don't know let's go well I don't know" "can't you make something fly" "well actually yeah" I said " can you make me fly " "yeah that way I can throw you off a building" "oh never mind" said Jake. The rest of the day we just spent playing around with my powers which I have to admit was pretty fun especially when I made Jake float and he got all scared.
