(Y/N's POV)
Classes were finished, and I was talking with Jisoo, while packing my bag.
"Like, seriously, I think Heize is so underrated. Like her voice is just... Everything!" Jisoo exclaimed, accusingly pointing at me even though I totally agreed with her.
"No need for pointing." I replied, smiling and lowering her small, outstretched arm.
Jisoo pouted and eventually failed to contain her dimpled smile.
"Listen Y/N," Jisoo impatiently said, while still watching me pack up my school supplies, "I'm really sorry, but... I really have to go. The buses are going to leave soon."
"It's time for the buses already?" I lifted my head, checked my watch and surprisedly exclaimed at her proclamation.
"Yeah." Jisoo shortly replied, nodding her head with a frown upon her face. "You're so LUCKY to live close to school."
I smiled at her and bid her goodbye with a hug and watched her cutely dash out of the classroom.
'I really wonder why Jisoo doesn't have a boyfriend.' I pondered curiously, 'I would certainly ask her out if I was a boy.'
Sighing with regret and sadness for the gentlemen who were not realising Jisoo's preciousness, I finally stood up and walked slowly to the gates while checking my phone for any messages. Only one from Mom.
'Come home quick, unless you don't want some brownies! 😂'
I love my Mom.
Too held up in replying to her text, I totally ignored the cascade of girls slowly starting to form a circle and screaming names, and kept walking in oblivion of the drama that was recurring around me.
Finally putting my phone away in satisfaction after sending:
'Will be at home in 10! Ready for some brownies 😍... Love you Mommy💜', I smiled and quickly walked towards the entrance of our school before the gates, anticipating already, the delicious, sweet, chocolate taste in my mouth - when I felt a slender hand wrap around my wrist.
Huh?
I slowly turned around and saw a delicate hand on my outstretched wrist that connected to a long arm, to a wide shoulder, to a lengthy neck, to a chin that was designed like a sculpture, to full lips, to a broad nose, and finally to the light brown eyes that emanated peace, justice, and panic.
It was Jin.
And right now, as he lightly tugged on my wrist and said,
"H-Hi, Y/N,"
I felt like a prince was talking to me.
A real, live, disney asian prince.
A gorgeous prince that was created and bestowed to the lowly people on earth by God.
My lips were shaped in an 'O' in surprise, and I was too shocked to reply; shocked by his visuals, his stance, and shock at why he was clutching my wrist like a lifeline.
And at that moment, when I noticed that Jin was looking at me with that helpless face and grasping onto my wrist, my heart beat suddenly, erratically, grew faster and faster - resulting with my face growing a light peachy colour.
"Y/N?" Jin asked cautiously, still not letting go of my wrist, "Can you... Save me?"
Save... Jin?
Without knowing why, I looked around for his other brothers in his gang and spotted some of them over there; stuck in the middle of a huge girl gang, and gaping at us (well, Taehyung was just staring at us with amusement) - ALL the girls were gaping at us. Everyone was gaping at us.
And in the middle of the crowd, I saw a girl with demonic features on her pretty face, drilling holes into my face. Lisa. Even from this distance, I could hear her speak in a low voice that was filled with anger,
"You."
Now I could see why Jin desperately needed my help.
Glancing back at his destitute eyes, I calmly removed his hand from my wrist - and I heard his nearly inaudible gasp of fear - fear to be settled into this prison - when I slid his hand into my hand.
"Let's go." I smiled and calmly said, pulling him towards the entrance of heaven, while shouting out, "Namjoon! Hoseok! Taehyung! Aren't you guys gonna go?"
And with that, everyone shook out of their stupor, and Namjoon and Hoseok stammered out of the girl group, while Taehyung leisurely strolled out, and quickly joined our group.
In that moment, as we stormed out of the entrance, it seemed like time had slowed like in the movies, and it seemed like we were cooly walking out of school like the Avengers. Except that we don't have a Hulk.
When I caught Jungkook and Yoongi waiting for the others at the school gate, gaping at us, I chuckled, and thought, 'Well, even though we don't have a Hulk...' I stared at Jungkook who was dumbfoundedly staring at me, 'We have a cute, muscular bunny.'
And with that, when we formed a group, our group including Jungkook and Yoongi, we stood together in silence, waiting for something to happen.
Our very own mini Avengers.
