He brought me to a fast food place. On his motorcycle.

I used to always ride on Ricky's bike, sitting behind him, clutching onto his torso. With the wind blowing on my face and hair and his blond hair brushing against my forehead.

My eyes started to get watery, I seriously needed to stop thinking about him so much.

When we entered the place, I realized how hungry I was; I puked all my guts out before getting onto Kyle's bike.

Thank god, he brought me somewhere where there's food.

Right when we entered the place, my stomach grumbled loudly. Embarrassing much?

"Guess I was right." Kyle said smugly

I just nodded sheepishly.

A waiter came to our table soon and handed out our menus. He looked around my age and his name tag read 'Bob'.

I noticed from the corner of my eyes that he kept looking at my direction. Awkward. Then after a while he asked "What would the pretty lady want to eat today?"

"She would first like you to stop staring at her!" Kyle yelled at him.

Both me and Bob were startled from his sudden outburst. Recovering, Bob asked "Umm yea sure. What would you two like today?"

"I would like a large chicken BBQ burger and large fries with one large strawberry milkshake." I said finally.

"I'll have the same but change the milkshake with coke." Kyle ordered.

"Yea umm certainly," Bob awkwardly said and left us alone hurriedly.

When we were finally alone, Kyle began, "What no salad? You eat like a man."

"Oh so you can have that but I can't. Sexist much?" I retorted slightly angry.

"What, I was just saying!" he said, and added "You're different from the other girls."

"Well a girl gotta eat." I said simply and he chuckled at my words.

We small talked about the weather for a while until Bob returned with our food.

We both stuffed the food down our throats in barely a few minutes. I guess both of us were hungry.

After we both finished our food, he paid for everything, much to my annoyance, and drove me back to my place.

After bidding him goodbye from my porch, I start to wonder how this cheerful and happy-go-lucky person could ever sad. I intend to find out what had happened to him with his dad.

The next day, I had to take some meds to survive the killer headache. My head was throbbing in pain the whole morning but luckily, Kyle send me a recipe to make some coffee, with herbs, and that solved everything.

I was supposed to be hanging out with my mum the whole day today but she messaged me about half an hour ago apologizing to me as she could not be able to make it.

I got used to it I guess, like I'm not even upset about it. I knew that her job demanded a lot of time and she's helped save a lot of lives so I'm cool.

Mom: I'm so sorry baby :( I told Kyle to come and keep you company. Go out, have some fun!

Why does my mother have such a good impression of him, like come on he smokes mum! Do he know how lucky he is to even be able to breathe? (QA/N: Hazel Grace moment!)

Me: Mom it's totally fine, see you for dinner?

Hopefully she'll be able to come home for dinner. I really wanted to catch up with her.
