Quick F.Y.I:
Their will be some slight changes to my writing style. I just felt it was hard to understand some of the conversations and what the character was thinking, or writing.

You are 5 years old (First p.o.v)

"Dad, what happened?" -Y/n

"Well, to be honest, your so called mother gave you deadly burns all over your body. Then when she was knocked out, she was taken to a hospital." -Dad

"Will she come back home soon?" -you said, trying to hold back the tears that where forming in your eyes.

"Your mother won't be able to see you or hurt you ever again under my watch, and now that she's gone, nothing will get in our way from your traing, so you can surpass me and any other Pro-hero and become number one." -Dad

The tears that where weiling in my eyes where so hard to keep from rolling down my checks because not only is it my fault mom got hurt, but it's also my fault that mom won't be coming home again.

Time skip to later that day

I was in my room at my desk reading one of Shouto's notes he had sent me early on, after the incident.

Sorry, about making you worry about my mom. She isn't going to be around anymore. The next time we see each other I can tell you all about it. Anyways, next time we can meet at my house.

The letter sort of made me happy knowing that he was worried about me. I cant wait until we can see each other again. It will get my mind off of what happened with my mom and I will be able to get away from dad for a little while too.

Time skip (play date with Shouto)

I was getting ready to leave with dad to go to the Todoroki's house when my dad came in my room.

Y/n, time to go. Once we get there you and Shouto are going to play a "game" together and who ever wins will get a prize at the end. Now, remember what I always say "2nd place is 1st place at losing." - Dad

Okay, dad. I'm ready. - Y/n

Just so you know you are wearing a long sleeve to hide the burn on your arm.

Skip the drive cause I'm lazy

We arrive at the house. Once we get inside me and Shouto are dragged outside by our dads.

Okay, both of you will be training together, so you both can get stronger. The first thing you are going to do is a battle against the both of you two, to see where you guys are at against each other. - Enji Todoroki

Wait, did I hear him right? Did he just say me and Shouto are going to fight against each other? I didnt want to fight him. I came to hang out and play. I thought I was going to be getting time away from my dad, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe if we finish early, me and Shouto can have some free time.

I look over at Shouto. He seems to look different, but I couldn't put my finger on it. It wasn't the look of disappointment that we couldn't just play together, it was something else entirely. Maybe i'll figure it out later, for now, I need start getting ready so we can finish this and maybe play later on.
